Gym layout is really good. You don't have to be jumping from one end of the gym to another to find the next workout station. I only see 2 things wrong with this gym. One is the water fountain. The push to drink water things are broken. Two the cleaning. Boy's restroom / showers are always dirty. Shower stalls have some mold on them and floors are nasty. The gym floor can use a little sweeping as well. Would of given this 5 stars if the cleaning was done.Hope my maintenance feeis put to good use.

They charge a lot for maintenance fee. The gym is always dirty, the machines broken. Be aware if you want to cancel your membership they will charge you an extra month.

I am not sure if there is a GM or DM running Tru fit on ridge but I'm tired of seeing the same machines being broken and sometimes all machines for a certain workout for example all leg extension machines broken at the same time...

If I could give 0 stars as well...I would. This is the worst gym ever !! And Mr. Manager Frank it is true what Yadira said about the rude customer service and the manager putting pictures of her. Catalina was a torment bully in this facility she refused to let me in because of a fee I had already agreed with billing, she called the cops on me. The cops themselves were very upset they could not help me andgave me advice to go to Corp. And information for a better gym!!! She also denied entranced to my sister because her pass was not printed when it had a sku and very clear instructions of it being able to use at the location. I am now trying to get a membership and turns out i cannot because TRUFIT DECIDED ON THEIR OWN TO KEEP BILLING AFTER MY YEAR CONTRACT IS OVER AND EXPECT ME TO PAY A 70 SOME DOLLAR AMOUNT WHICH I DID NOT USE. THEY HAVE NO EMPATHY AND ARE DISGUSTINGLY RUDE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. HOWWW CAN YOU KEEP A CONTRACT WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF OTHER PARTY? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? DENYING THE ABILITY TO RENEW OVER A SUMMARY WE DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. I WILL MAKE IT MY SOLE MISSION TO place this review everywhere I can and as many times as í can .TRUFIT Is a BULLY OF A GYM AND I'M TIRED WE CAN

Good facility. Just one issue, the hot water is to hot! It is so hot that the the cold water comes out luke warm. It is impossible to get a cold shower to cool down. It seems like you should turn down the temperature a bit. It would save you money and avoid someone getting scolded by the near boiling hot water! And a couple of hooks to hang towels from wouldn't be bad either.

If possible, I give it 0 stars. I went Sunday June the 3rd to get some info about membership. They behaved very racist and unprofessional. Gladly for me before I signed any contract. I guess she was the sales manager in charge. So, I will stay at Golds Gym.

Great gym to workout at. Usually very clean. Just wish that they would get heavier dumbbell weights past 110. I dont lift straight bar anymore cause of a shoulder injury but dumbbells really help. Problem is they only go up to 110 and have seen to be past them. Really hope they consider heavier dumbbells.

First time I went to Tru Fit to ask about memberships, I wasn't so impressed. The girl I spoke with was informative but not very friendly. I went a second time and really liked it. The girl I spoke with was Vanessa, she gave me prices, gave me a tour and helped me with a 3 day pass. I've recently joined the gym and find most of all the equipment working, overall I have not had any problems. Thanks!

It's alright. I work out at all times of the day. Staff is decent, but the gym is full of wanna be bodybuilders pushing out their chests and acting bigger than they are. I've been going for 5 months 6 times per week and I haven't' seen anyone that even remotely resembles anything close to a bodybuilder. It's super macho for no reason. I could understand(I guess) if they had legitimate lifters maybe, but its like they're confused about where they stand. Bizarre. Maybe they need a squat rack so people could make real gains? Dudes with puny 17inch bloated arms thinking they're huge with no back or shoulders. And of course, chicken legs everywhere.

Been here 3 weeks. This place has half the equipment compared to the other tru fits, yet charges the same amount as the others. Parking sucks, sometimes you have to park on the side of the street. They charge you for the BMIs....... really.... any other gym charges you 15-20 dollars a month and you get a free BMI and there's more equipment, but here no, you have to pay. Really regretting getting my membership here. If you have a chance go to another tru fit gym or you might as well get Golds gym.

If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. They lack proper customer service and fail to address their clients the proper information. Not sure if this is due to poor training or they just down right do not care as long as you're locked into your contract.
My mother and I are both members and we invited my sister with a guest pass to the gym. Upon arriving to the place we get told she cannot use the facilities because she had to be 18 years old. Their guest pass says, "18 years or 12 years with parent." My mother (also a member) was next to me and I informed the staff at the desk that she was the mother. Even then they did not let my sister go in because she was not 18. So why on earth do their passes say "12 years with parent" if they will not be honoring that. As we were leaving the facility, the rep at the front desks tells my mother that my sister can go next time as long as she takes the birth certificate and they can verify through ID that she is her legal guardian/mother and that my sister can go as a guest any day of the week.
Fast forward to a few weeks later, I call just to verify that this is the case because we didn't want the same thing to happen again and she had to wait by the door as we finished our workout. The staff then tells me she cannot be a guest because she is not 18 and that guests are only allowed Friday-Sunday. Oh, but get this, she also told me that if she was a member, meaning a paying member, then she would be able to use the facilities. So I can pay for her to go, but I cannot take her as a guest for a day or two? Goes to show the company's preference to profit extra rather than meet a customers need/want.
My main issue aside from the fact that it's a bit ridiculous that a Platinum member cannot take a guest any day they want, is the misinformation that you receive. A customer should not have to feel the need to ask the same question multiple times because they want to make sure they got the right answer. The correct information should be provide the first time around. I work customer service and I know how important it is to effectively communicate with your customers.

Also, despite there being a cleaning crew, the place smells and you find plenty machines that need fixing as well. The water machine which has indicates when a filter needs changing, will last for days with a "red" light before it is changed. I mean, c'mon!
I used to enjoy this place years back, but now I am eagerly waiting for my contract to be over.

I love this place.... I've been at this location for years! Sadly...Just like many others I've been disappointed by the staff in plenty occasions, management is usually very friendly and reapobsive, I know they love their business but I wish they would talk to their staff about service and hospitality a lot more often.

Wanted to try this gym out so I went in seeking a trial pass. Upon arrival, the front desk called over the loud speaker for, what I assume was, a sales representative. After five minutes of sitting there waiting, a man walked over, I introduced myself and interest in a trial pass, and he proceeded to tell me I can only receive a trial pass by going through their website. I asked if I could complete it now, on my phone, but he still refused saying it wouldn't activate until the following day and he couldn't explain to me why I needed to go online as opposed to completing a form there. Complete waste of my time, especially considering the woman at the front desk could of spared by five minutes by telling me they don't offer trial passes in store. Horrible experience and gym policy.

i wish there was a lower rating i could provide but 1 star is the lowest. Went today and tried to use a 3 day pass that was given to me by tru fit member as i shoped at Wal-Mart by Joziah , Girl at the front seemed like she was on medication or something kept laughing and acting spaced out like she had never seen a 3 day pass before , after she could not help me she went to her lazy out of shape lady manager sitting 5 feet away from her and comes back to tell me i can pay $15 for a 3 day trail laughing and giggling again.i asked to speak to the lazy lady manager and another lady representative stepped in to tell me they do not give 3 day passes . By far the worst place in the valley to consider as your gym , i'm getting in contact with regional manager and telling as many people as i can to not even bother giving this place a chance due to the non - existing customer service

in the beginning i didn't mind this gym but later on they kept on calling me to go do some test and i don't know what but it was for me to pay extra for a trainor so i didn't go. they kept on calling and calling me until i just blocked their number. okay so fast forward a couple of months my friend and I went during the night and we would just be talking and doing our own thing not bothering anyone until we noticed a staff member that would give us dirty looks ALL the time! let me remind you that we weren't disrespectful or anything but i guess this guy had something up his ass that he didn't like us to the point where i didnt l feel safe and wanted in that gym so i juat decided to move gym and not pay anymore. the fact that gym was my first gym to go to they honestly sucked. i do not recommend this ugly gym to anyone.

The machines are updated more often than the Expressway site. The reinnovations really paid off because the weight area was expanded. In addition, one of the classrooms was expanded. I am glad they finally replaced a burned out lightbulb in one of the women's showers after a year. Also, there is less equipment hogging due to the lack of Sharyland teenagers working out in groups of 5 or more.

The place also has enough emergency exits in the case of a fire.
