A large gym with great facilities. It hosts youth league games so it can get pretty packed. The people running the child care are especially friendly!
Decent gym for the price. Could use a remodeling of some sort to the free weights area. Rolled my ankle and almost fractured it due to uneven floors. Luckily I didn't fall or hit my head on a piece of equipment. Filled out an incident report but never heard anything from them.
Premier is like a favorite pair of well worn shoes. Looks a little dated but friendly, helpful staff. Daughter practices volleyball here and hangs out with friends. I use the women's workout room and occasionally the racquetball courts.
Great place to have sporting events!
We went to the sportsplex for a volleyball tournament and it was so cold. I will encourage my volleyball club not to do tournaments in Lubbock because this is the second time we've had to freeze in the sport plex gyms. I mean just warm it up a little!!! Geeze!! Or don't host the tournaments!!

Not great, but not bad. One of the few gyms in town that has at least one basketball court (they have 4), and that's really the only reason I'm a member. Plus I never have a hard time finding a game when I want to play pick up. The courts are nice, but at times it can feel like a sauna, so get those towels ready. It's kind of pricey once you consider they not one, but two "enhancement" fees in the contract. Not sure what they are for exactly, but okay.
I wish there was more of the pick up games you guys run on Tuesdays

The gym has really improved since the changes were made in the maintenance dept. Friendly staff, awesome management.

Equipment in need of a major overhaul. Really no kind of layout. Free weight area very compact inches away from machines. Rooms are fairly dark.
I go nearly everyday. I go early in the morning. I love it!!! Staff is friendly and helpful. It seems like that are adding and changing some of the older equipment. The only reason I did not rate it five star is the age of everything.
The facilities are excellent the staff very helpful and it's convent to use including the location. It's good to see the the different ages of all who use the building and the different activities they are involved in, just about any sport one can think of. If it continues then only good can come to Primer sports and all involved.
Price is fair. If you're a basketball player then this is the gym for you. The weight room is for bros meaning it's focused heavily on bench press. Meanwhile they have one true squat rack. Equipment is sub par. Overall I'm happy with it but I've been in nicer ones.
Best GYM in Lubbock. Staff Members are fabulous!
They definitely need to do something with the refs there. Al least put them in a training facility or something. That are nice though. I like Josh Washington.
