I decided to cancel my membership after four years with the company, as the Womens Bodyworks has been closed and I just didn't go anymore. I called to cancel and was told by a rep or employee (I'm not sure) that I would have to cancel in person at the location I signed up at. I asked what to do if my location was closed and she told me to go to any location. When I arrived to cancel, the employee who helped me was kind but very pushy and kept questioning as to why I was cancelling, which I understand is her job. After several minutes she got the cancellation form, had me sign and then proceeded to fill the rest out. She started texting her manager half way through, then told me that she couldn't cancel the membership as he had to sign off on it, or I could call and cancel. When I explained that I had in fact tried to call in the first place, she apologized but still said she couldn't help me and I would have to speak with her manager. I went in the very next day but the manager was with a different customer and after waiting for 20 minutes I called customer service (while still in the gym) and spoke with Suzanne. She is one of the sweetest women I have ever spoken with, and while I was still waiting on the manager she got everything taken care of for me. I did deduct a star because this was such an awful experience at this location, but that won't take away an otherwise enjoyable membership over the last 4 years.
