Very nice to have this establishment nearby. Rates are reasonable for senior citizens and their spouses. Love the tai chi classes.

I enrolled my kids into the summer specialty camp and they were in rolled at Cedar Valley elementary my kids called me on the cell phone asking me to come and pick them up because the teachers were yelling and screaming at all the kids. I went and picked them up every single teacher that was working was yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. I will be calling the supervisor To request my money back but I do not recommend anybody going to the summer camps this has been the second camp this summer that I have had issues with.my kids are 11 and 13 and I do not feel safe with them at these camps

I used to love coming to the pool and so did my kids, but I no long feel welcomed there. The aquatics manager, Dusti, makes me very uncomfortable by winking at people and she has told my kids to leave the pool area while I was in an aquatics class and they were quietly sitting by my bag on the deck. I asked her why she kicked them out and she told me because it was a safety hazard, which made absolutely no sense. My friends have told me she is very rude to them in so many ways. The poor lifeguards are always being told to clean imaginary messes. That pool is always spotless regardless if they clean or not, and the lifeguards are extremely friendly. But sadly, I will no longer be coming to the pool because of the hostile environment.

The YMCA indoor pool is very clean and organized. I take my children there for swim lessons, and for the most part everything runs smoothly! However I have noticed that some of the management acts hostile toward her guards, on a few occasions I've heard Dustiy harass the staff, loud enough for us to hear! It seems innapropriate for a family pool. The lifeguards are very friendly so they should not be treated in that manner. I have also heard others complain and talk to each other as to how Dusty has NO respect towards patrons, and is very passive aggressive when she talks to people. Other than that I'm pleased with the YMCA and hope to use its facilities for years to come!

I can't accept that this facility is a real YMCA because I've never been treated so poorly at any YMCA anywhere in my entire life. The management of this facility creates a climate such that it is not a pleasant place to come work out or use the facilities or eat at the snack bar, the pool hours are often not posted on the schedule correctly and the nice helpful people are just too few and far between. One staff member, "Mike" would actively go out of his way to create problems for our family and our friend's who also have a membership here. We finally got so tired of his bullying that we have cancelled our membership to the armed services YMCA because it's just not worth all the stress and drama.

We had gone to the gym on Friday, June 28th of this year. At 11:11 two white eldery women, one in a blue yoga outfit and another in pink, began to yell at a group of black kids for playing basketball, saying things like:
"YA'LL SHOULD KNOW THIS BY NOW, MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS!"
They continued to circle the kids and yell at them; they even got an old man and another woman involved to start yelling at them until they left. Those poor boys had to walk back home in the sun. (We had seen them walking to the ymca when we were on the road.)
The poor boys hadn't done anything wrong, but I guess playing basketball is a crime.
These ladies didn't come near me and shout the way they did to them because my dad was with me, nor the white dad with his kids.
We later found out from a helpful staff who worked there pointed out the schedule for the week. This was a new schedule that no one knew about since its small and posted somewhere no one reads/would read at. I assume they change the schedule weekly because this was never on any schedule we had seen.
The elders were gonna play a game of "pickleball" even though they had already 2 - 3 classes just for the elders.
We wanted to report these actions, however no one (as usual) was at the front desk.
Which brings me to the conclusion:
The ymca claims they're all about making sure kids have a place to be, when in reality they cater to the elders more. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but its such a shame that they would allow this to happen in a so called "child hangout/safe" place.
Don't waste your time. Don't come here to play basketball or go period. This place doesn't care about having a place for your kid to be.
Until then, we're not going and we're canceling our membership.

P.S. I don't need a stupid response from the owner. I want an actual change. Actions speak louder than words.

Lots of fitness classes for the whole family. Swimming classes offered year round to get little ones ready for summer. Holiday hours are alittle inconvenient. Also, they should offer childcare ALL DAY during the summer.

The place is clean and the staff member I had was very friendly. I wish I didn't sign up though the pool isn't really kid friendly for those that can't swim. The shallow end is a pretty small area as well. I signed up more for my children but this place is more for adults not families going to cancel.

I just joined and while I like the facility, today I stopped by the bistro to pick up a smoothie and take a look at the menu. I decided I wanted a smoothie but wasn't sure what I wanted. When I changed my mind, the clerk made a snide comment that she'd have to start all over. I apologized and went on with my business however these types of comments are better kept to yourself. God forbid she had to push an extra button on the register to wipe out the original entry. If you don't want to work somewhere then don't but don't make everyone else miserable because you are

The build is 5 star, the staff is good, and the childcare is great. Yet they seem to be missing a few of the simpler things. No real area to stretch in before you work out. Its now used as a class area and an area for free weights. Also, no towel service drops this down to just ok. For the money, I would like an area to stretch in and I have never been a member of a YMCA that didn't' offer towels for the gym.

Feels like they are so close to being great but yet so far from it.

My biggest complaint are the weekend hours. Because we try to fit in a lot on these days it would be nice for they're open past 4pm and if they opened earlier than 10am Sunday. Also they got rid of childwatch on Sunday so my husband and I have to go separately. It is a nice facility but can get really busy and can be difficult to get to all the machines you need to complete your workout.

Clean, modern, and welcoming. Staff is friendly, but won't bother you during your workout. There's even a sauna! I'm very grateful to live so close to this gym.

This place is very clean and organized. They have an app that tells what classes are going on. The instructors are out of this world. I go at least 5 days a week with my family and it rocks. Great child care.

I never feel insecure about working out at the YMCA. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and a part of the YMCA family. The instructors are extreme motivators with amazing hearts and work well with people of ALL physical capabilities. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I try to never leave horrible reviews and try to always think positively but my experience left a horrible taste. I Went to see what was there and if they had a flyer with prices and classes. The employees were so rude. The door was open and two employees were standing in the lobby. They both immediately said "We're about to close" I responded "oh I'm sorry I was just wondering what you all had here and if you have a flyer" they answered immediately saying "we're closed" and every time I tried to tell them I just wanted a brief summary of what they had I was interrupted with "we're closed". Finally I said "okay I'm sorry, is it just the pool" and they said "no" and I just left after that because I felt so uncomfortable. I completely understand that they were closed and did not want to show me around but they could have at least listed a few things they offer or handed me a flyer and ask me to come back when they open. Especially since their website has little to no information about what is in the facilities. There was no reason at all to be rude to a perspective patron.

I've been a member for just under a year now. I've noticed that the facility appears to be clean and staff are pretty friendly. I have seen equipment go down for repairs more often then they should. I've noticed there isn't preventive maintenance performed on the machines and frequently the nautilus equipment fails. Hours on the weekend are limited and the space inside the facility is pretty small. The location is convenient, but it does not always meet my needs of a robust amount of space and equipment to accommodate the large membership population.

This is a great facility. So many activities to do i won't even list em. If your an adult who who enjoys a clean relatively drama free environment with few kids running around then this is your spot. Not that they don't allow kids but the rules they have in place generally are meant to create an environment focused on fitness and wellness. There are many children focused activities they offer as well, even child care while you get your workout in. Just make sure you ask about weather the activities you want your older kids to do are she appropriate based in their rules.

Nice facility but there aren't enough evening class options. I work 12hr shifts as a nurse & don't typically get off until a little after 7pm, which means that I can't ever attend a class on days that I work, which is most days. There also aren't enough early morning class options, meaning I can't go before work either since my shift starts at 7am. Sadly, I'm limited to the weights & other gym machines.

Since I became a member, before the building was even finished, everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I have quite a way to go to reach my weight and fitness goals, but I've never felt uncomfortable in any of the classes because I wasn't as physically fit as others. I've only felt encouraged, and supported, and even shared the celebration of small successes. The facility is will maintained, and the staff are constantly evaluating the needs of members and adding/changing various classes to meet those needs. Our family LOVES it here!
