These people will become a second family. They really grow on you. They will not throw you in there. They take the time and help you out. All the coaches are awsome. I love the training. One hell of a gym. Boxing is great. Bjj is amazing. The muay thai is on point. Key note: Dont make fun of phill..he'll fight you. - Arturo
Took our son here awhile back bc we wanted more classes . He is already in Martial Arts . He had his belt rank on bc he earned it and is proud of it . Everyone was friendly . The kids didn't seem to listen to instructor , as our other gym training with . Discipline is important to us in this sport . The part that turned us away was that the instructor took his belt and put away on file cabinet . He wore no belt . The others had theirs . He earned it and worked hard for it . I understand he didn't train in your gym but it should be respected and honored . Appreciate the tour and information though .
SAS is more family than school. Aaron, Shawn, Phil and all the coaches are firm yet fair and so patient with the little ones. SAS is a powerhouse when it comes to martial arts. Perfect synergy of discipline styles. Proud to be a part of the SAS family.

Went to the YMCA program and S.A.S gym for a month and half with my daughter. Too much waisted time. The main reason why we left is that the whole time we were there, my daughter was not once introduced to anybody, not even the coaches. Of course my daughter eventually became familiar with one of the coaches, but still doesn't know the name of the other instructor or any other students. Not once did anybody try to speak with her. Not a good way to make a 8 year old feel welcomed. Sorry SAS, I gave it a solid go. I appreciate the effort Aaron.

Great family environment, has several different types of classes for all to do from age 5 and up. Wrestling, Taekwondo, jiu jitsu,Boxing. .. Come check it out !!!!
My daughter had been going to Strike and Submit for 6yrs now and there is no other martial arts gym I would take her too. The environment is amazing, the coaching is excellent and every child who learns here earns their belt. In Killeen and the surrounding areas it's normal to have the kids test once a month to ensure they get to being a black belt with in a year. Then these same kids go to a tournament and get their butts handed to them. Time and time again SAS has proven to be the best school for martial arts. It has a program for striking and then ju jitsu for the ground fight. Not only that Master Aaron implements boxing into his workouts so that the kids know how to fight standing up as well. If you are looking for a place tha your child will learn, excel and earn their belt Strike and Submit and Master Aaron is the way to go!
My son loves days where he gets to go to class. My husband did his research and did an awesome job finding this place! My son will be coming for as long as possible! The teachers are so patient and helpful making sure the students learn the right techniques and safety measures to prevent injury while learning discipline and how to protect themselves. I am very happy with SAS and will probably be placing my daughter into classes when she is old enough!

They make it easier to learn the techniques and skills. I look forward to going to the gym everyday after work because I know I'm going to learn a lot and get bad ass training in! I feel so welcomed there . I love how there are so many different styles of fighting you can learn there too . It's just an all around great gym.
