Checking to see if Allen YMCA is open again with COVID-19 reopenings occurring? The Voicemail doesn't indicate open to public or not.
This is a great workout facility. With your membership, you have access to all the equipment, towels, lockers and showers.
I am very troubled about the extent of display of costumes in this location to celebrate Halloween. I was deceived that YMCA is a Christian institution however celebrating Halloween and witchcraft is against christianity.
Why are they not placing information about Jesus Christ. Why in the world are they betraying the public by indicating they're Christians when they have denied Christ.
Displaying halloween costumes and stuff is contrasting to Christian values and beliefs.
My kids are getting troubled with coming in here and seeing all these displays.
Please take them down if you're whom you said you are.
Awesome gym. Locker rooms are top notch. Pool is clean and huge and the whirlpool is great. Lots of machines and a great variety of weights. Can get crowded after work but go before work and you're golden.
Best for preschool,reasonable & affordable. Teachers are good My daughter alyz make us amaze saying & doing different things everyday. I would recommend to everyone for there kids.

Best gym we have found yet and we have tried so many. We tried the Y in Frisco, but the staff was very unfriendly and it appeared we were interrupting their day, but the one on McDermott in N. Plano is wonderful. Great equipment...much of it quite new within the past year. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. Ryan is head of the personal trainers, I believe, and he will always take the time to explain something to you or to help you with a physical problem and recommend exercises that would work.
As an added bonus, we've made some great friends among the patrons there and we look forward to catching up with them when we go.

I've been going here with my family ever since 2007. Everything is great about this gym; however it should be open for longer. The 6 o clock closing time on the weekends is pretty inconvenient.
Great gym!! Could use a little heavier Dumbbells and a pool......haha but it has been very adequate for all most my training needs!!! I love coming here and the staff are the best!! Always friendly and always willing to help out a customer!! Full of knowledge!
