Great school, great coaches. They a bit more expensive than the other schools, but we also see higher quality. We believe the value is better.
I can't say enough great things about RockStar! I signed both of my boys up (5 and 7) in October. Coach Rodrigo and all of the staff here are amazing, and extremely friendly. Highly Recommended if you are looking for a top notch Martial Arts program in the area.
I personally do not have an experience with this establishment but a friend of mine, Sue and her family go there. Sue has told me what a difference it has made in their lives. If I lived in the metroplex my son and I would definitely sign up. The positive words Sue and her family have shared are very rewarding to here. Keep up the great work!
Highly recommend! Great instructors and athletes in this gym. They make you feel welcome and part of the family. That is not always the case in the Martial Arts world. If you're looking for a place to train or bring your kids this is the place to be in Frisco. Thanks Rockstar!

My son started in Rockstar as an ordinary flat footed kid but 3 years later to our amazement has become a man. Under coach Joe's tutelage he has developed his skills at a pace that I never expected. He is more motivated, confident and most of all respectful. As a parent I admit we couldn't have done it alone. Therefore thank you Coach for your guidance. Your old school approach to Muay Thai is effective for ones development. And to Ms. Shiva who is running the show, always transparent and quick to answer our queries , great job!

My son was directed to RockStar by another martial arts instructor, who promised us we would be pleased by the quality of the instruction and the culture of the school. That recommendation was spot on. Students come, they work very hard, and they learn, but always in a cheerful, energetic, supportive environment that emphasizes character, not just learning the skills. I watched my son flourish and grow in his confidence under the teaching at RockStar. They really seem to have a knack for hiring really exceptional people. My son received lots of personal attention and encouragement from all the coaches. You really feel like you're joining a family, not just a school. I could not recommend RockStar more highly!
Rockstar is the real deal! My kids love the coaches. They are very patient and understanding with all of the kids. Would recommend to anybody!

We can't say enough good things about rockstar. Watching the instructors mentor the kids is awesome. Coach Cody went above and beyond to get our kid over initial anxiety the 1st day. He spent the whole class time getting to know him. Now we see him improving every day. Just short of a miracle.
My son attends the Prosper location and it is amazing!!! Great and consistent instruction and chemistry. My son literally stays engaged for the entire session. I recommend this for any child ...

I cannot stress enough how much my life has changed since I became part of the Rockstar family! Not only do I train, my wife and two sons train as well. The passion that is behind this place is awesome! The curriculum is on point and the way I feel after training is amazing! I know my sons feel empowered and as strong as they can be. I love the fact that my family trains together, but the change in all of us is truly glorious! Each and every location is great. All I can say is "Thank You" Rockstar - "Thank You".
Kaden absolutely LOVES Rockstar! Rockstar has not just taught him Martial Arts, but daily life skills as well. On days we aren't able to bring him, he begs us to attend. He can't wait for his next class. Best decision we have ever made. Coach Cody and Coach Somalia are absolutely fantastic with the kids. Thanks Rockstar!
We have had nothing but a great experience at Rockstar. My son came in to the Rockster program very timid and not wanting to participate. Now, he worries about being late and runs into class. He has bonded with Coach Cody and Coach Somalia, and wants to tell them "bye" before we leave. We have never felt like a "number" and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. My son has made great strides in his focus, confidence, and leadership skills since he began this program. Overall, we are very happy.
Signed my daughter up because she wanted to try it out. Coaches are encouraging, patient, but also make sure she pays attention. I like that they encourage her to get out of her comfort zone and teach her that it's a positive thing. Parents can tell their kids this all day long, but sometimes it takes an unbiased third party to convince them their parents sometimes know what we're talking about. It's nice to have Rock Star as part of my daughter's life.
We have two daughters (8 & 6) attending classes at Rockstar regularly. Both truly enjoy the experience to learn the art and science of Jiu Jitsu from highly qualified, accomplished trainers. The coaches have big hearts and really know how to motivate. Our girls are learning discipline, focus, self-defense, self-awareness, and mutual respect. Our girls love Rockstar...and we love the positive impact Rockstar has had on them! We highly recommend Rockstar to folks of all ages and all experience levels!
Overall great experience. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The coaches, the administration and the parents all contribute to an amazing experience. The coaches do such a great job teaching!
My son has been attending here almost a year and he loves it. It has been wonderful for his self discipline and self esteem. He loves Coach Cody. As a parent, I enjoy how family oriented they are and take an interest in each child. I highly recommend them.
We joined Rockstar in February of 2017 because we wanted our 8 year old daughter to learn how to be confident in herself. She was timid in the beginning, but within a few weeks she was right at home. Her dad and I loved how much coach Cody taught them not only jujitsu, but also about life. He teaches them that they are the only ones in control of their mind and body and no matter what others do to you, you get to be the one to decide how to react and how it affects you. Jujitsu has truly changed our daughter and we cannot wait to see what it does for her in the years to come. Thank you Rockstar!
We started our oldest son here at Rockstar back in 2016. Coach Cody reached our son and brought effort out of him and encouraged him to work hard and it helped him improve in so many ways. Having attention issues we weren't sure but after a few months changes were seen. Our youngest watched and at 2 years old was already showing signs he wanted to participate. At the beginning of 2017 my husband and I decided to give it a try as well. Shiva and Coach Boecker had us hooked after the first class. Training here at Rockstar has definitely been an opportunity we were glad we took. They are like extended family. They care and want you truly to succeed. Now almost to the end of the year our entire family now trains here and we have gained so much. Confidence, better morale and a lot of weight lost! Thank you Rockstar team!
Coach James Boecker, my son was in your school for more than 5 years, he had several different coaches, NEVER had any issues with anybody and it took you a few minutes to destroy the relationship with my son and with me as your customer. Your response, your temper and your INABILITY TO DEAL with feedbacks in respectful manner speak for itself.
I am sorry that you are UNABLE TO ACCEPT the fact that your staff provided confusing and conflicting instructions and when this was brought to your attention you did not hesitate to accuse my son and me of disrespect.
I firmly believe that down the road, other parents and kids will see your true character.
My son has been attending Rockstar for almost 2 years. He has learned a solid martial arts foundation, but more importantly the coaches implement daily life skills. The whole all around factor is a reason we never looked anywhere else once we found Rockstar. Coach Cody has instilled the greatest qualities in our son, in and out of the dojo! He was just accepted to the competition team as well. So we hope he will only progress from here! Thank you Rockstar!
My son Nicholas, started lessons at RockStar Martial Arts at age 8. At the time I signed him up, my purpose was for him to learn self discipline, confidence and a good physical workout routine. Fast forward to today, 3 years later, I couldn't be happier about my decision back then, it has been an investment in my child that has had a tenfold return! Nicholas has developed a great sense of self-discipline and respect which has impacted his life at school and at home. Each time he advances to the next belt is like a tremendous boost of confidence and achievement. AND he looks forward to going to his class each time. If you're at all considering martial arts for yourself or your children, RockStar is the place and I HIGHLY recommend there.
This place is amazing! From the facility to the staff and the curriculum, it's all around AMAZING! We enrolled our 6 year old in Rockstar a little over a month ago, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results we've seen. Our son went into Rockstar after we decided to home school him and realized he needed social interaction, and we needed help at home with his behavior. I called around to many places in the area and either I couldn't get them to return my call or I was unable to find that the curriculum stuck to the respect/discipline standards we were searching for. I wasn't looking for a place that was going to coddle our son and have play time for a monthly fee, I wanted a real life practical skills class that was going to instill and drive home the points about respect and honor to our son. That is exactly what you'll find here! The owner Shiva is the sweetest and our son looks forward to going in and seeing her each class. He also thinks her husband is a "super cool tough dude"! He loves Coach Cody! He is so aware of his behavior here at home and in school and is making a huge effort to do his best. The best thing I love about Rockstar is their involvement with the students. Not only is William there for class but they are genuinely concerned with his well being inside and outside of class, and William cannot advance unless he is displaying his honorable demeanor both inside and outside of Rockstar. I would recommend this place to anyone!
My daughter has been training Muay Thai at Rockstar for 8 months now and loves it! She can't get enough!! The instruction is top notch and ownership and the entire staff are passionate about what they do.
