Joined this gym multiple times I rejoined with the GM Ali back in August he made the process so simple and easy. He has done an amazing job keeping a friendship. The gym is always clean everyone is supper friendly. I love the variety of equipment and classes.
Not the nicest la fitness I've seen. The men's locker room doesn't always look clean. I've come and gone seeing the same trash on the floors. Constantly out of paper towels or over flowing trash in locker room. Late afternoon the guys up front will have girls up their behind the counter that don't work their messing around, and even doing flips by the desk, showing off. Not sure if they do not have a evening shift manager or not. I like the location for what I need. Not having kids club open on Sunday is a huge let down. You would think the busiest times for the kids club would be the weekend. For the price you would expect more. I would recommend this location for using weights and machines, not much else.
Very spacious facility with plenty of equipment; I love how the cardio is separated and placed on the second level!
Great people. Not too crowded most of the time but the basketball court leaks from the AC in the middle of the court and the basketball court is really small. There's no real 3 point line because of it.
Not the best LA Fitness in the area. New fascility. But not much ameneties. No Wifi. No hottub. My cell phone have no signal inside. So Wifi would be a good addition to listen to music.
This place is awful. The staff does not care one bit about the member. They are a "used car" sales type of place. The head "trainer" Leslie is a disgrace. I needed shoulder surgery and the surgeon told me I was going to be out of commission for 3 to 4 months. She told me my surgeon was crazy and I did not need to be out that long. I guess she is board certified doctor and just slums it at LA Fitness as a part time job. She must really know her stuff too because she didn't even know what the shoulder surgery was fixing when she told me my doctor was wrong and "crazy." They seem to happily criticize others openly and often. They freely bash anyone who does CrossFit and the boxes in the area. It seems like a pretty childish place run by inept people. I highly recommend you go to Lifetime, Cowboy Fitness, the new club on the corner of 423 and Main, The YMCA gym, or anything else other than LA Fitness. Running is important with this gym. RUN, RUN FAR AWAY FROM LA FITNESS.

The pool is slightly warmer at this location. They built the pool with 3 lanes instead of the usual four. Since this is a new location, everything is clean and new. The layout seems compressed too.

The equipment is very up to date and clean. How ever the showers are about as discusting as can be. I originally signed up In McKinney, when I had a tour of the facility I was pleased then I came to Frisco and thought maybe they dont have a cleaning crew. The showers are filthy as are the bathrooms. I work out at 5:45am and maybe thought this could have been a one time thing. I have now seen the same underwear on the floor for 1 week and trash in showers that has been there as long. If u thought that was bad, today I walk in and shower curtain is on the floor along with shampoo bottles. I can assure you other than the messy unkept showers and bathroom this is a good gym.
Carson was dishonest with me via text yesterday about the price to start. I came in today (the very next day) like we discussed, and he changed the price. I thanked him for his time and he wadded up the paper agreement in front of me and gave me an angry look. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable!

NO WIFI! All the other LA Fitness in the area have it except this one. They have been saying they are working on it since December 2017. Also half the stair machines have been down for a couple months. Other than that, the staff is friendly and the gym is pretty clean.

Love this gym. Never have any issues with the staff or equipment when I come.
Honestly the people that workout here are full of themselves like this kid Mason Berke, he is like a teenager who keeps bothering the other people there with his selfies and trying to show. He has apparently told his "friends" that people come up to him all the time in the gym and tell him that he is making a lot of progress. I've been going to gyms for 15 years and I have NEVER seen two people talk to each other unless they know each other. This kid is a fraud.Also he tried to hit me.
This place has no Wi-Fi and is a dead zone for most cell providers. If you like listening to online music while you work out this is probably not the gym for you. Also the men's room stalls are filthy. Saw a used needle and wrapper on the floor, probably a roid connection here.
A nice gym, but there is always so much dust and dried sweat all over the cardio machines. It's disgusting. Also, the mats are filthy and covered with clumps of hairs. The wifi never works, don't even try it. There are some good class instructors, but for the most part, they are subpar. I don't know what chemicals they use in their pool, but every time I come out of the pool, the tips of my nails are shredded and my skin feels like it's burning.
Good: The facilities are new. It's a big enough space. Good parking and never too overcrowded.
Bad: The staff here is literally the most unfriendly, unwelcoming, and rude group of people I have ever encountered. They all have a superiority complex and I have NEVER seen any of them smile. In fact, their extremely subpar customer service is why I dropped my membership from this gym this past summer. I got a guest pass for the holidays, and have continued to be treated poorly every time I walk in there. I'm sure other LA Fitness locations have much friendlier staff, but the people who man the front desk have never even made eye contact with me or said any kind of greeting. They are unapproachable and hard to talk to. Please get your heads out of your asses, or you will continue to lose patrons. Or maybe you've just been incredibly rude to me - I don't know. Either way, I would've happily continued going to this gym if the staff was even a SMIDGE friendlier.
ALSO: Machines and space around the machines are always dirty, one or two stairmasters are always broken, and it's either way too cold or way too hot.
Good equipment. I pay annually, so I have no idea about the monthly payment consistency. I haven't used the personal trainers. I go to lift and that's it. The people are friendly/cordial, no meathead douches at the times I go. I would have given it 5 starts, but they could be better about cleaning the equipment more frequently.
This gym is extremely dirty at all times, and not just little bits of trash here and there (although that is also an issue) there are used bandaids on the floor, machines covered in layers of sweat and all of this regardless of the time of day.
I understand maintaining cleanliness is likely a difficult feat at a gym, their hours of operation should allow a window of time for janitorial staff to clean the facility.
Soaps and towel dispensers are rarely stocked so if you're looking to use the restroom, you'd be better off stepping outside and using one of the port-o-potties set up around the corner for the construction crews.

This is the place to go if you work out in Frisco. Awesome customer service, always clean. Nice things to look at as well!!! It's called motivation! Usually here 6-7 days a week.
Love this place! super nice facilities, very large compared to other LA's, lots of nice staff(Jay is the man). My only complaint- and this is to how LA Fitness works in general, is they need to be 24/7 or at least stay open later. Price is right though for what you get.
I would call them cheat as they change their statements every day when it comes to enrollment. Pls be very careful in dealing with them especially when you enroll and make your first payment. I will be contesting on the basis of false advertising.

Great equipment, brabd new store anf everything. Lways highly trained, courteous, well trained, however still a very cool and down to earth staff!!
