I couldn't give this club more than 3 stars. In the 2+ years I've been working out there I have seen what most reviewers on this place have seen: dirty bathrooms, equipment repair lacking, and not the friendliest workers. I'd say its improving on those things but it can be frustrating at times. Also the weekend hours have me on the verge of switching my membership to somewhere else.
Update: The business model here continues be fix nothing and gain as many members as possible. Frustrating. -1 star.
Not a bad gym. You def get your moneys worth. Excellent staff though. Recommended for 30 dollars a month.
I travel the Metroplex and stop in various La Fitness locations all the time. I was passing by this location today and decided to give it a try. It was Friday at 11:30 AM. Not very busy. Gym was clean. Equipment was modern and functioning well. Cute girls. I had a good workout. Don't listen to the one-star complainers; this is a good gym.
It's not bad. Not very busy. They do need to upkeep better though.
I normally go to 24 hour fitness, but a friend offered me a 2 week pass here. I am seriously considering switching gyms! This place is always very clean, you can definitely tell the staff takes a care of the facilities and equipment. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I may just have to cancel my other membership and join here! I also love that the sauna is gender separated so that I dont feel intimidated by some of the males that like to take up a lot of room and workout in the sauna, like at 24hour fitness. Definitely a great choice if you're looking for a clean and comfortable environment for workingout!

It's about par for bargain-priced gym chains. I find everything I need to do my longtime workout and it seems decently well-maintained and clean. I see some others here disagree, but they may be accustomed to maid service or some such. And who cares if the front-desk people are chirpy with the greetings and what not--I'm here to work out. A weak spot is the WI-FI. Connectivity is stellar as long as you're on the LA Fitness site. Elsewhere, not so much.

Last Saturday at fit room we found a life roach.The. teacher kill the roach before start the class.Also bathroom very dirty and the smell was terrible.Why Hurst La Fitness is so dirty? The bikes for spinning class are so old. Why Keller has is better?

FILTHY!!! I've been LA Fitness member for years and recently move to Hurst and by far this is the filthiest facility I've been too. I can make do with less equipment but if the facility is nasty that is something I cannot tolerate. I've complained multiple times to the front desk people but it seems like they do not care.
It is a shame I cannot go to the LA fitness that is close to my residence and have to go all the way to next city to go use the facility because how dirty it's kept. I've talk to multiple people about this and they all feel the same way.
Locker rooms - Nasty no matter what time you walk in there is always trash and smells really bad.
Sauna - Needs clean up. Stains, no floor mates and smell very very very bad.
Bath room and showers - Dirty and has mold growing not only in the showers but also on the shower curtains.
Swimming pool - By far the filthiest it literary has trash on the floor inside the pool anytime you walk in. Pool floor seems like it's never been vacuums. As soon as you step in the pool it feels like you are stepping on dirt composite or some kind of algae.
I'VE COMPLAINED MULTIPLE TIMES AND NO ACTION FROM THE MANAGEMENT SIDE!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!

Overpriced especially considering the area that was once dedicated to floor workouts is now exclusively for trainers and the people who pay for training. So good luck if you want a mirror to make sure you have good form. Also, why is so much equipment just permanently broken? And why is the staff always so rude?
The gym itself is great, but trying to cancel your membership is damn near impossible if you can go up there between 9am-5pm. Kinda sad that it cost me more money just to cancel my membership.
Have never had a problem with staff. I usually visit when it is slow but on the occasions that i don't, i regret it. Machines are full which is bound to happen if your sharing equipment, and sadly that means sharing sweat if you don't wipe down machines yourself. I wish i would see staff wipe down machines more item. They say they do but i've never seen it done.

The locker room smells, more then a third of the treadmills are out of order and 10% of the time the sauna isn't working. When you try to cancel your membership, you have to get a form online and mail it to them, I think it can be a little simpler. As other people have mentioned it is dirty too. That being said, there aren't that many better options here.
Good clean gym. Everything you will ever need. Owners a good dude and Jordan is am excellent trainer.
Wife had items stolen from her locker! Unfortunately we later found out that LA Fitness knew of the individuals doing this and did not kick them out. They essentially harbored the thieves and let them come back to continue theft. Over nine people have had their lockers broken into by the same group that the gym was aware of.
If you are nostalgic for middle school this is the gym for you. Step into the men's locker room and take one whiff of the moldy 12 year old socks stench you miss so dearly. The basketball court is poorly lit and has many spots where the wood doesn't meet the floor so the ball doesn't bounce. C team basketball court level.
Also the sauna isn't even hot. There's a reason they didn't put a thermometer in their sauna.
New machines and very clean. Love this location. Will return whenever I'm in the area.

Apparently management at this facility nor regional leaders pay attention to these comments and feedback. I would have assigned a half-star if there was a choice to do so.
FILTHY, no CLEANING MAINTENANCE STANDARDS - over and over, there are clear, to the point comments about the poor MAINTENANCE and lack of cleanliness all over this entire club (specially locker-rooms, sauna and whirl-pool areas.) After my more than 3 conversations w managers about the state of this LA Fitness location, I was so disgusted w the responses and results, I decided to cancel and took my money elsewhere. I was also joined by a few other members who felt the same.
Poor management and horrible public-space cleaning standards.
I've come here 3 years. Used to love it. My kid goes to the daycare; they're very nice too him, even though it can get hell of chaotic. The employees, awesome. So nice. Really get to know the regulars. Issue comes with corporate changes. The locations have been either remodeled or rearranged to give a ton of space to the personal training clientele. (It's an upsell they always try to do but leave you alone when you make it clear it's not your jam.) In this location, the did not remodel just reshuffled. The area for stretching was commandeered for the training space and the mats were moved into the middle of the weight machines. No mirrors, no privacy, no nothing. Also you're told to leave the private space if you don't have a session; doesn't matter if it's not in use. It's a waste too because the smaller older space it had was almost always empty. I called corporate to complain and they referred to this as a company wide change for their customers paying a "premium". I countered if that meant the rest of us peons would get a reduction in price if that was the logic. (Queue quick backpeddle.) Seriously really taking the 99% of their clients for granted. Honestly the Euless location did this too in a much better way: still mostly empty wasted space but at least they left the mirrored floor space.

Great gym to work out at. Membership price is very reasonable.
Dont go to this place. Staff has no idea about the cancelation policy and they would not let me cancel the membership. I had to call the cooperate office to get correct information. I would not recommend this location.
I used to love this gym but it is going down hill. Machines are always broken such as the stair climber or treadmills. I also mostly do floor workouts on a mat and they took the space to do that away. It is now a personal training area even though there is hardly anyone using the space. We are going to start our search for another gym because the space is not accommodating to my workout routine.
