I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I just don't understand the lack of effort here.
The workouts are great and the trainers are great. Those are the only good things. I assumed that's all you need to have a great gym, but oddly enough, everything else about this place made it terrible.
Maybe I'm skewed because I came from a gym that really supported me and all those that worked out. Maybe that's just not an "OT" thing to do. I haven't been in 3 months and I don't think they have noticed yet. If they have, they don't care. I tried canceling 2 months ago and never received any responses to my texts, voicemails, or emails and yes I get that I need to come in and cancel but couldn't you have answered my calls or emails by telling me that? I would sign up for the morning classes and would be 20th in the queue to get into the class (which is strange because they told me the wait list maxes out at 10, but that definitely wasn't the case). In response to me not being able to get into a class, they told me that I can still show up and see if other people don't show up, and if they don't I can take that spot. I don't want to wake up at 4:30am and go all the way to the gym, only to find out that I won't be able to workout this morning. Went into the gym to cancel today because I noticed that I have been charged again, and "since February is a short month, I will be charged for March as well because we need 30 days notice". And that's just unfortunate for me.
If you're looking for a gym or community that is going to support you and your fitness endeavors, I'd look elsewhere.
To summarize:
1. Good workouts and trainers
2. No support
3. Gym classes are always maxed out
4. App is terrible
5. Corporate and cold on cancellation policy
6. Not worth it
