Travis Lutter gym is an incredible place to learn martial arts from an experienced team. As someone that came in with zero martial arts experience, the team at Lutter gym were very encouraging as I jumped into this new endeavor. Every single coach I have had at the gym has been phenomnal. They train hard at Team Lutter but everyone treats you with respect and dignity. Can't recommend it enough! Great for beginners and vets alike!

Awesome place to learn, and the people are amazing to be around. The instruction is top notch, and pedigree is the best in Tarrant County. Many head instructors at other gyms were students of Travis.

It was an amazing honor to learn from Coach Travis and all his accomplished coaches. When I used to live in Fort Worth, I had a great opportunity to be able to roll and learn from everyone here. A great supportive atmosphere! I was very challenged in my jiu-jitsu as I trained with the best white belts, blue, purple, brown, and black belts. Training in the advanced class and competition classes took the best out of me and really helped me find my identity and helped me create my own unique jiu-jitsu journey that I've been on for 4 years. While pursuing my PhD at Notre Dame, I still train jiu-jitsu with my new team on a near-daily basis and always remember that my past experience at Team Lutter has shaped my training and journey. I am honored to carry this past experience with me as I currently continue on my jiu-jitsu journey forward! Big thanks to all my coaches and teammates! I strongly recommend this gym for everyone! Amazing training experience with all the coaches and teammates! Absolutely enjoyed my training experience with Team Lutter!

Let me just say... I travel with work quite a bit so have the opportunity to roll in quite a few gyms. And there are few gyms I enjoy as much as this one.
Every single person training there is kind, respectful, and genuinely happy to have visitors. So whether you live here or are just traveling through, go for a roll. You will come away with new friends, new techniques, and a smile!!!

Just know you will be suckered in to a two year contract that you cannot get out of. Most of the time you have students take over the class when an "instructor " never shows. This place is a joke.

The most honest and sincere way to describe this school would be "family". That's what we are. Mostly because the people that train at this school have what it takes to be stable human beings. They have what it takes to accept adversity and continue moving forward. I've been training at this school for 5 years now. I have seen people come and go. The people that stay and invest in themselves become part of this gym. Just do it.

This has been a great experience for me!!
Over the last year I have met so many new friends, lost 60ibs and I am in great shape. I first started training to get in shape and loose some weight while learning a new skill. Now I'm super addicted it has taken a life of its own! The instructors are great! Very patient and there to answer all my questions. The facility is very clean and kept up. There are so many classes so it's easy to make it to class even with my busy work schedule. I would highly recommend this school to everyone!!

It's been a while since I attended this place, 8 years I believe. And while yes it is pricey, that's what you have to pay for quality, and this place as I had known it is quality. If I had not got into financial hardship I would have stayed. The instructors are great, Travis absolutely knows what hes doing, and it shows with the quality of his instructors and the teaching methods. I havent attended other places in the DFW so I cant say how well it goes up compared to other places, but if I had the money I would definitely come to this place again.

only reason i rated 1 star is because of their way of business. i had a personal issue and needes to cancle way earlier before i started class. i call the AAC (the middle man they use to charge you). not only do they tap into your credit but require you to pay 50% of the total even though you wont use their service!
The people trying to reel you in to this gym will not disclose this information to you.
one biggie for anyone considering this gym is that they DO NOT disclose that they will tap into your credit. not even when you sign does the contract state that.

Team Lutter is the warmest, most diverse, and challenging environment for anyone looking to compete or simply get into better shape. There is an option for literally any person regardless of experience or physical fitness level. Right off the bat, every single person is incredibly inviting and understanding; the only thing any one wants is to improve and watch their friends and teammates improve. The coaches have a passion that is incredibly contagious and couldn't be more hands-on and attentive to each individual regardless of how large the class is. It is perfect for children as well as adults - Benjamin Annunziato is so wonderful with children, and it shows in how much they love his class. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, the experience you will get training with Team Lutter will always be inviting, encouraging, and most of all, it will require the very best you can offer. It will make you a stronger, more disciplined, and more energetic person than you were before you started. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try and see just how long it takes for you to fall in love with the sport and the environment.

My daughter (Brooke) trains with the kids here and she just loves coming to train. She has been coming here for about 1 year now and loves the trainers and the other kids that are so involved !!
I have seen adults and kids training here and everyone seems to really enjoy it at this gym.
I see lots of Professionalism and real character in this gym.
Team Lutter has some real Champions coming out of his gym's !!
My wife and I Highly recommend this place for all training aspects of Mixed Martial Arts and BJJ for kids and adults !!
