Three stars because I am only reviewing their website, which stinks. I guess the only way to learn what this facility offers to to go there and get a tour because there is nothing I can find that lists what is available at the location other than programs of some type. Is there a good mix of equipment, do they have showers, is there an indoor pool, is there more than one basketball court? Why do I have to go to the location to get basic info in this day and internet age?

I have always been an active individual and I've never used a cleaner gym/work out facility and for me that's a top priority.

I also really appreciate the open concept of this Y and the wide variety of weights avaliable.

I'm a member for life!

All I care about is the cleanliness of gym and this place is CLEAN!
Significant fitness floor with a lot of cardio and weight area has full length mirrors.

Great facility & atmosphere! It's family friendly and the kids care is great. Our family has loved going to the Y here.

I joined this popular YMCA yesterday during a membership drive and was so impressed with the genuine caring of the staff and the time they took to show me the facility that was way beyond what I would have expected. The equipment is clean, it's very open and airy, huge windows, lots of light and the air feels very good and that makes a huge difference when taking deep breathes and exercising. I am so happy to be a member. If you want to join the Y now is a very good time of year to do it for their drive.

Great space, plenty of equipment (even during peak hours), and a friendly staff!

Love this place. This is my gym and they always have good activities going on. It's always clean and haven't run into a mean person yet. Highly recommended.

They don't have a member limit so the place is crawling with people and their basketball gym is not even a full court and always has tons of kids pulling up from the half court line, and also does not have good competition. The weight area is good, only if you manage to either get up at 5 am or try to squeeze in with the rest of the million people trying to work out. The actual facility is very nice and clean, though.

This is a nice, new location with staff that are usually pretty cordial. The locker room and equipment areas are generally pretty clean, and it's been rare to have to wait too long for a piece of equipment. While the location is pretty big, it does feel undersized for the amount of traffic it gets as it can be a bit of a maze walking though the weight and equipment areas at times. Parking during "normal" hours ranges from scarce to non-existent. During the summer swim months is a complete nightmare, though if you manage to snag a spot equipment is generally easy to come by. There have been times when the lack of parking has won out over my motivation and I've just turned around and gone home.

Here's my advice if you're looking to sign up:
This is a very nice location, but parking here is generally terrible if you want to workout before or after normal working hours. If you live nearby and can hike over or you happen to have a flexible schedule and are able to plan your workouts around off-peak times then this is the spot of you. If you're a pleb working 9-5 and are expecting to hit the gym on the way home you'll be in for a lot of frustration.

The White Rock YMCA is a clean facility with nice equipment. The staff is curtious and knowledgeable. Take a tour.

Stacie at the YMCA White Rock was able to help me work through an membership issue. She was wondering and super helpful with my referral for my friend. I really enjoy being able to go to the swimming pool and taking the classes. The facilities at this Y are really nice.

Sparkling new facility with a great staff and challenging group classes. The only downside is the parking.
