Our children have greatly benefitted from the exceptional staff at Pro Martial Arts. We highly recommend it.
We LOVE this place and the instructors. My 12 year old son is on his second year there. The instructors are so AMAZINGLY patient and willing to take time one on one with kids. Sometimes my son will spend three hours there because he is in the leadership and teen program. He WANTS to be there and asks to go multiple times a week. Big thumbs up from this mama of four kiddos.
Some of the instructors are great ,but I really struggle with one in particular. I understand that they are trying to instill discipline but he seems to take it to another level and is in no way patient or empathetic to the children. My son liked the activities so we gave it our best shot but he ended up in tears and hysterics after our parents night out. There are some good instructors here but one of them really ruins it. They need to replace him with someone who actually likes working with children.

This place told me that they did not have space for my child at this time and they offered no other option or solution. I felt like I was being discriminated against because the age of my child and her name being hispanic. Anyways they were not helpful at all and it did not seem like they were interested in getting my child in there classes.

Organization supporting children of fallen officers sponsored my son to participate in karate here. and paid months in advance The studio does not have a sufficient partition to keep younger siblings from disrupting the class, so I wasn't able to observe my son at all during his sessions. After a couple of months, my son and I both agreed that this wasn't the best for us right now. Manager refused to give any sort of a pro-rated refund to the sponsoring organization for the payment made months IN ADVANCE. Again, this was a non-profit organization sponsoring children of fallen officers that they have no problem taking advantage of.
Mr. Nees is all kinds of awesome. The instructors are very patient and will work at the kids pace. Huge 5 stars.
The instructors are very friendly and patient! The classes are very fun and at your own pace. The instructors really push you if they believe you can do more! I was very apprehensive at first since it is my first martial arts but they've dispelled all my worries and feel more like a family. I'd definitely recommend this as a starting point if you're looking to do martial arts and its also a pretty great workout!
Our kids started at pro martial arts this year and we have seen such a difference in them. They have learned focus, discipline and confidence. Now they are doing well in school and respectful at home. The armor program has taught them how to handle difficult situations. It has been so much fun, my husband and i joined the adult class. Can't recommend them enough
We have been attending since the fall and our son can't wait to attend class each week. The instructors have a great balance of fun and work in each class which makes it worth it for both the kids and parents. All the instructors are fantastic especially Mr. Garcia and Mr. Peng. :) Mr. Rhode is superb to work with and encourages all little ones with his kind approach. My son has not only learned karate skills but has gained confidence, focus, and respect.
