Nicole is crème de la crème when it comes to yoga instructors. Her focus on fundamentals is paramount in her teaching style and in making the connection for the yogi student. You will leave her class making mind-body connections with muscle groups you never knew existed!
Whether you're in a Hatha class or individual instruction, she tailors the lesson on-the-fly through her extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. As a personal instructor she focuses specifically on mechanics, truly studying YOUR body and tailors instruction (and 'homework') appropriately, including extensive use of props (sticks, wedges, balls, etc).
What's even rarer to find is Nicole's holistic approach to yoga -- in addition to the asanas, she's well versed in the philosophical, meditative and pranayamic sides of yoga. Her patience is unmatched, always positive and bright, reminding you not to take things too seriously. Oh, and be prepared to laugh! She truly embraces what it means to be a yogi.
My initial work with Nicole began with handstands, but the scope of our individual sessions have covered much more. As a beginner yogi, I've advanced far more quickly under her guidance than I would have on my own.
