Awesome place to place around especially if you have kids . also you can talk a walk around trinity park below the skyline trail

One of my favorite places to go with my family when the sun goes down. Great view, good exercise, nice environment.

Cool trail to ride your bike and grab some food in Trinity Groves. Bring your camera out also to take some beautiful shots of Dallas. There's the water shooting from the ground for the kids but besides that nothing much else.

This was a nice place to run and exercise... there is a walking bridge offering seating and shade. There are no cars allowed, which makes for a great place to run or bike ride. Enjoyed running here.

Good start, decent area for a park, but the park itself needs a lot more polishing.
Trail gets covered in silt and mud making it exceptionally dangerous if youre not on a mountain bike. All available maps and signage are faided (see photos), unclear, and generally not facing the logical direction (in regards to maps mainly, see in photos the two sides of info board facing parking area are blank, and the side facing people already on the trail has the map, which shows the river being "infront of you" despite it actually being over your shoulder when looking at the map [i.e. backwards]). Other maps dont even display the trails, just nearby points of interest, which someone on the trail has no way of getting to since the map doesnt display the trails.
Wayfinding in general is borderline useless, i was standing less than 20 feet from the trailhead near the parking area, trying for over ten minutes to orient myself to the only available map, and could not for the life of me even see the hairpin turn just over an embankment that lead to the trail, so i instead went the wrong direction over the pedestrian bridge, which does not at all lead to a bike trail.
Needs a lot of work to make it suitable/welcoming to first time visitors.

Nice sized trail for exercise. Unfortunately, too many entitled dog owners ignore the signs(which are everywhere) about keeping their dogs on a leash, so expect to have your exercise ruined by someone not following the rules, with his huge dog(s) roaming free without a leash.

One of the hidden gems for trails in Dallas. You can choose between unpaved trails along the top of the levee or the paved trails in the Trinity wetlands along the river. There are stunning views of the skyline all along the trail, as well as a good view of the Tri it y river and its wildlife. A slight drawback to this trail system is the the lack of shade. If you plan to come here, he sure it isn't during the middle of a hot Texas summer day!
