(updated 2/4/20) Returning here has been the best option. It is convenient to my work and home. Plus it is one of the few, if not only, full featured health club. With lap pool, hot tub, steam and dry sauna, racquetball and basketball courts, CrossFit, classes, indoor running track, free and machine weights, plus plenty of cardio options.
It still needs some upgrades as the Verandah is over 20 years old. Hopefully they will make those changes over the next year or two.
A shout-out to Jeff and Rick for getting me set back up with a plan to ensure a healthier life. Thank you.

The staff has always been helpful. That is about all the great things I can say.
Recently I returned to join again only to find that the price was now increasing from $109 to $120 plus tax and sign-up fees.
The thing that blows my mind is it is at best a dated oversized health club. They have a pool, indoor running track, basketball and racquetball courts, free and machine weights, cardio and cross-training. It is better, the locker rooms are still dated by old lockers use the old key method. It is a positive that you don't have to bring your key.
The biggest complaint is the price. They are nearing the price of a Lifetime Fitness or Equinox, yet they lack in appeal and services provided.
I wish all the staff the best. I personally can't recommend Verandah at my discounted couple price of 120 plus tax.
