Somehow one of the cheapest gyms in town is one of the best. I've been to fancier gyms that smell, aren't welcoming, or don't keep the space tidy or organized. Equipment is always put away, there's a culture of generally cleaning up after one's self, and the staff is friendly. The new remodel has brought in even more equipment, so if you can think it, there's probably a machine to do it. Staff could be a little better about sweeping though.

I love coming to PF! The staff is friendly and even the other people working out are friendly and mind their own business, everyone is there to better themselves and I love the atmosphere. Always clean. 10/10 recommend.

Love PF as a place to work out, standardized equipment, nationwide access, hydro massage therapy and so much more. With my frequent travel, i can find clubs in Alvin(TX), Beaumont(TX), Little Rock, Shreveport, Roseville, and so many other places in the US

I had a membership for about 3 years with no issue (other than the place being packed all the time). However, I had an unpleasant surprise today when I cancelled my membership. I was told that they will charge this month anyway and that they should have told me when I signed up that I needed to give them notice of any changes to my account a week in advance, even cancellation. Ridiculous. First, I don't remember anybody telling me that. Second, Other than cashing out on me for the rest of the month, I cannot think of other reason why they cannot prorate any number of days until today that I cancelled. The email says that I can still use their facilities until what they charged me covers, but that means nothing to me, as I moved out of town.
It's a sad end to an otherwise 3-year good experience with them.

This gym is pretty good for the price you pay, but there was one employee who was rude/condescending enough that my partner refused to sign up here (she has since been fired, so good on PF for that!). In addition, I do wish they had a more expansive free weight section. Like I said, the gym is good, but I am moving on because as I move up in my fitness journey they don't have all the equiptment I need anymore. Still, if you just need a basic gym with no bells and whistles, this is the place to go. 24 hours is also a great plus.

This gym is trash don't waste your time. There is never any open machines. All the people going there are just blowing smoke on their phones taking up space. Employees are rude.

Great location, okay to park truck in back,
But need to be gone by 8am...clean, sunrise 480's and my favorite equipment, great job PF!

It's the people who really make this PF location great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We especially like the personal training sessions with Devin! He creates great work-outs, makes them fun and delivers results. The equipment at the gym is well maintained. The locker room is very nice and clean ,as is the gym itself. We have been members since this location opened and are 100% happy.

Like the staff, so friendly machines easy to use, love the 30-minute circuit room. The locker rooms and other areas of the gym are all clean and kept up. LOVE the massage chairs and the total body enhancement machine.

I went there a few days ago and I liked it. Mind you this was the first gym I've ever been to and I only went once. I thought the equipment was nice. I walked on a treadmill and worked out on one machine. I felt accomplished. I felt comfortable. I thought the facility in general was nice. I was pleased.
I also went as a guest so I'm not paying for any of it. I see a lot of negative reviews about bad customer service and things like that.
For now I'll continue going as a guest, but what I saw with my own eyes made me consider a membership for myself.

Save yourself the hassle and DON'T DO IT! Absolutely terrible management and horrible customer service. Tried out the no commitment for $10 deal and when we went to go cancel, they told us that we had signed on for a year even though we explicitly told them we wanted the no commitment, cancel anytime deal. They then told us we could come back and cancel on October 16th. When we went to go cancel, they again told us that we would have to pay the cancellation fee or come back in one month. Like someone else said, you get what you pay for, horrible customer service and a company ripping you off left and right. You're better off spending the extra money for a different gym with better equipment anyway.

It sucks. Machines are worn down and the mechanics of them at a higher weight, screw with your ligaments and tendons. Not having a bigger free weight section hinders the ability of you trying to control the weight. Your body is at the mercy of the machine's range of motion. Also the fees and contract make the cost way more than just the monthly payment. On top of all this, the online and customer services don't get necessary information back to you in a timely manner, especially when you're going to cancel.

One star is a bit of a stretch when reviewing this location. Whoever answered the phone on today's call (no name given) needs a serious lesson on customer service. I called because the online system was not allowing to transfer my membership to another location. The guy rudely cut me off and said he could not handle it because the in gym members hold priority. He then explained he would not do it unless I tried online. He did not listen to a word I said.If he had, he would have remembered I tried it over 10 times. His attitude was so negative and off putting that I cut the phone call short to speak with him in person.
In regards to the gym itself, I would recommend taking a few spare minutes and drive to the Bryan location. The gym is never as crowded as the CSTAT location and it's always clean.

Plenty of cardio and weight machines. Great for a good workout and great price. Pay attention to peak hours to avoid busy times. The staff is fairly friendly. Love the fact its open 24 hours.
