Nice gym, but (some of) the employees are jerks.
Pros:
- Nice, well-maintained
- Enough equipment that you usually don't have to wait, especially if you build flexibility into your regimine to avoid waiting on particular equipment
- Customers are generally friendly and approachable
- Decent price
Cons:
- Overheard or saw employees mocking customers on multiple occassions during my short 3 months at this gym
- Price is a tough sell to students or anybody with access to the Rec which has nicer and more equipment (albeit, much more crowded)
- Aggressively try to sell personal trainers during sign up, including pitching false information to you such as unreasonable promises of body change, weight loss, etc.
Overall, this place is fine if you keep to yourself, know what you're doing, and generally don't have any quirks or odd mannerisms; if you do, you might get some heat from the employees behind your back. If it's close to you and you have the money, it's probably not the worst choice you could make, but it ain't the best either.
