The climbing wall is great and all the staff I have talked to have been super helpful.

It is a huge gym. The swimming pools are very nice and I am definitely gonna miss it after I graduate. They also have all types of equipment that will serve you well. They also have a teach on the 3rd floor. Enjoy your workout. It got Smoothie and ATM as well. In addition to free lockers. It's a World class gymnastics.
Facilities have become much better than when I went to school here in 2016/17
The place is clean and they have a lot of equipment, but there are some things that really bother me about the rec. First, it's always busy....good luck finding a bench/machine without having to wait a good 10 min first. Second, they have so many lame rules. I got called out for not using weight clamps when I was benching...which is actually UNSAFE if you are over-confident in how much you can lift (can no longer bail out if you lift too much). I also got scolded for squatting with no shoes, which is physiologically safer than squatting in tennis shoes (they are basically forcing me to buy weight-lifting shoes which are really expensive). I've been lifting for 3 yrs, I don't want to have to worry about whether I'm following these stupid rules if I know what I'm doing.

Was intown for the TAAF summer games. Staff was very pleasant.
Best gym facility I have ever seen in the US and it has the perfect swimming pools for one to swim.
You will get everything here, from badminton to swimming to gymming. Has an instructional pool with a jacuzzi, and an outdoor pool. Good options for gymming to choose from. Has a running track as well on the second floor. You can always grab a bite or a smoothie from Smoothie King after your work out session.

I love coming here to workout. It's a much better vibe than any off campus gym. You can play just about any indoor sport here. They have jacuzzis, lap pool, swimming lessons, and a dive pool. Rock climbing, weight room, cardio machines, and open space to do whatever you like. Can't beat it.

On Sunday afternoon, only 3 lanes in diving pool and the instructional pool is open. Are you kidding me? We pay over $100 per semester for the membership. How hard is it to open more lanes???

Excellent, I went to practice and can find space most of the time except maybe the first few weeks when it was full all the time. I also tried the group exercise, the instructors are very energetic, enthusiastic and friendly.

The nicest rec or gym ive ever seen even on tv and movies. Its amazing although its easy to get lost and you can always accidentally wander into places you didnt know existed. Needs a map at the entrance.

Tons of workout machines to use, clean facilities, and helpful staff. Be warned that the elliptical machines are usually packed, but finding a spot for yourself isn't terribly difficult either.
I pay for here because it's required. I enjoy the bouldering wall, but it seems to be under funded.
This certainly is a great facility at Texas A&M I must say they're University it is very large and still growing but overall you still get a country Town filled with a lot of the small businesses that are still around Texas A&M it is so much fun and many of the staff here are friendly and helpful

Very good gym and has every thing you could possibly think of. A little busy but what good gym isn't would highly recommend.
