One of the best place I ever been on my life
Artist Community hotspot. One of the best hidden gems in the Austin conscious community.
Insiders place to go for events, art music and fun on the East side of Austin...
The "Aware-house" is a massive Austin art space where artists join forces for fine art, dance, music, and other forms of creative expression, with a singular goal: expand the collective consciousness. Randi Southard is the chief artist at Indra's. She holds the vision and keeps the candle burning, fanning a sacred fire for four levels of creative thinking: observation, communication, creation, and curation. Some of the specific events that strum the heartstrings here include the open-invitation acro yoga sessions, ecstatic dance classes, film screenings, a wedding... To me, Indra's Awarehouse is a playground where we find our voice, stand for what we believe in, and connect with other funloving, like-minded, open-hearted people.

It is so much more than I imagined.
Has a really good vibe that you feel the minute you walk in.
This is one of the most interesting events and performance spaces in Austin. I love the vibe and the entire environment created by this space.
From the outside it's a beat up old warehouse on the edge of town with a funky paint job on the front porch area. Inside it's a wonderful and eclectic space with room for dance and acro yoga, music, crafts, and other creative pursuits. They host a variety of events, and I've never failed to have a great time when I'm there. There's no air-conditioning, so they rely on open bay doors and fans during the hot months, but if you're there to work up a sweat then that just adds to the effect.
Fantastic fine and performance art community.
A Work of Art! Creative Environment that Boosts your Inner Being! Randi the Owner is Very Nice. I love this Place!
