Bought a gold gyms tank in red and swam an enjoy the hot tub met some cool amigos also

Just got my truck broken into at the parking lot. Will never go to this location. Luckily only thing stolen were a couple of jackets, a backpack and few item of clothing. No longer feel safe going here. I know it's not Golds Gym responsibility but still food for thought.

This Gold's location is very clean! I never have an issue getting on a machine or getting free weights. There's plenty of equipment to go around. They offer TRX straps, large swimming pool, and sauna. Front end staff are always smiling and welcoming to clients!

The gym is well kept, the employees have listened when I've mentioned equipment needs to be repaired, and I have no complaints about the facilities in all.

I want to give a shout out to Charles Rodriguez, a front desk employee Every single time I come in he is cheerful and incredibly helpful. Just a great employee to see when you first walk in, welcoming and seems to bend over backwards to ensure that Gold's members get what they need.

I wanted to see if there was a personal employee review for him but he said that this was the closest thing I could do. He also said, "You know what else you can do? Keep on coming back!" Absolutely "Gold" standard (hah!) for what you would like to see in an employee.

Came in from out of town for the third time. Used my travel pass. This gym is amazing. The staff is very friendly and the gym itself offers so much. Not overly crowded and it is meticulously cleaned by the staff.
I was floored when I saw the General managers and the staff cleaning around all of the weights. Making sure everything is put up and asking members if all is good.
An amazing team effort and excellent facility.
Well done!

Decent sized Gold's Gym with new equipment in good shape. Can get a little crowded in the early evening rush, but not terrible.

Their promo offers are a big SCAM. I signed up for a three month promo offer for my wife and me and I ended up being charged the same or more than what it would have been for a monthly membership. They also charged me the following months after my promo offer ended and wouldn't refund the amount even after me telling them I wouldn't be using the facility. The trainers are just salesmen where they try to sell you personal training packages. WORST EXPERIENCE!!

Update: They continue to charge your card even after cancelling months ago!!!

I got racially profiled and discriminated against by some namora (naked mole rat) named Alyx Dykema. I felt threatened the entire time I was there, I left canceled my membership because of a protein drinking namora with a hateful intent.

For over a year and half now I have been using gold gym at several locations; this particular night I walked in at this location, scanned my card; a racist hyena mayonnaise named Alyx Dykema that looked like a protein shake under the sun rudely stopped me and said she had to check my membership agreement to see if I was supposed to be at that location. She prevented me from accessing the gym stating that a member of their team is not available to look into it. I thought to myself oh gosh they racially profiling now at the gym? I have decided for my safety to take my business somewhere else, $17 bi-weekly automatically withdrawn from my account. Just to get stopped and frisked by a hateful disgruntled employee giving a bad name to the company she works for. A better personality test before hiring can attract and retain more customers. Her demeaning tone, frowning face, aggressive and threatening demeanor made me very uncomfortable in returning to this gym. There was nothing but pure hate in her eyes, it is her type that calls the police on good brown and black citizens, this is the parasite that is killing this great country.

Also, we canceled my husband's registration after a month and in all they again deducted $200 even after cancelation..they keep deducting amount from your account even after cancelation emails and they are not ready to refund any amount..this is a pathetic customer service till date wherin you shared your . account details but they misuse your detail and for no reason they deduct amount and do not provide any customer serviceand they also do not have any refund process in place..VERY hard to believe!!

I will not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Friendly, helpful staff; generally clean facility with new(er) equipment. Parking is challenging between 5-7pm, and the gym is crowed during those hours.

If it's not one thing it's another with gold's. I've been trying to get them to honor what I was told 3 months ago with my membership. They avoid you in the gym until they need you. They changed the hours this was the most inconvenient decision. The gym cleanliness varies sometimes it appears to be abandoned sometime it's ok. I've had a membership for years I think currently the are overall the worst experience.

The cost was not told to me, I was not given the option to choose the level of my membership and the employee never told me of a three month contract. I called up to dispute the membership charge when Is aw $100 his my bank account. I tried to explain that I just wanted the regular membership, not the expensive one. The lady at the front I spoke to yesterday was so defensive and combative I felt like a lot of other have been calling about the same issue. This is deceptive marketing. When I tried to call and talk to the person who signed me up, apparently he wasn't there. The manager told me the original sales person who signed me up actually signed me up under the his name (the manager matt). I asked him if I could lower my membership or cancel it and get a refund, not only would he not work with me, he said it was my fault I didn't read the contract. This has been the worst customer experience I've ever ha with a manger. I will make sure gold's gym corporate knows how they are taking care of their customers. I will never go to a gold's gym again, I will dispute this and take it corporate. Businesses can't treat their customers this or they will ruin their reputation.

I signed up for the training program and the Gold's classes for the month of January on a month to month . On the second month my husbands card was compromised so we went in and physically paid our bill. We received a receipt and were told everything was good to go.
WELL... Imagine my surprise when the card I used to buy water was drafted $353.00. I never authorized the use of this card. No one told me this card would be added to my profile. I called and spoke to Gary and was given several different answers which none were true. Gary promised me a call last week and I received none. I physically went in to the gym to speak to someone and I was told by Gary that customer care was not open on the weekends and I would receive a call last Monday. No one called. My husband went in and spoke to Brian who was able to straighten out most of this but no one responded to my calls or emails. I don't even want to go to this gym anymore but I already paid for training from my AWESOME trainer. I am very upset about this.
I never authorized the use of this card as to why it would do this? Well you tell me.This was handled very poorly. I got no where with Staff.
Gold's has wasted my time, my energy and efforts and have stressed me to a degree you could not fathom.
If someone was playing with your money and lying to you on top of it, I guarantee you'd be upset too.

This Gold's Gym is a beautiful gym. Very well maintained. Very clean. Very well put together. They have a swimming pool and a sauna. They keep the water very clean. This Gold's gym is one of my favorites.

Not the best Golds gym around but very convenient for me since I live a few minutes away. Id much rather go to the Burnet golds gym since it has much more machines, better workout equipment and a friendly staff. What really get me is the staff is not friendly especially the males. I find it better off talking to a brick wall, get my tag scanned and not a peep from the males.

Good place for budget minded gym goers. Classes are usually fun and instructors work hard. Body jam and bike classes are especially great and the elusive cx works is so good I wish they offered more of them.

This is an incredible gym for people who are new to working out and those who are more seasoned gym goers. I am new to lifting/ strength training, and I lacked the know-how and confidence to really go for it. I decided to invest in personal training at this Gold's location. The first time I met with Josh Gomez was really helpful and solidified my decision. He listened to my reservations with the program (too chicken to try new things and learn) and goals in my fitness journey. After, he created a regimen to help me go from no knowledge whatsoever to being able to do various muscle group workouts by myself with confidence! (mostly haha) I met with him once a week, but if you have the desire/funds (lol) for more accountability/ help you can bump it up to 2 or 3. I did once weekly workouts (1hr) for 3 months. I recommend personal training to anyone who wants to start a workout regimen or even someone who wants to get even better! Can't say enough good things about Josh. He is prompt, professional, fun, motivating, and helpful.

I am no longer confined to jogging on the treadmill but actually can build some muscle and prevent injury! :D Totally worth the investment.

This gym is cleaner with newer equipment, lap pool, jacuzzi, showers with shampoo, classes and a smoothie bar. Very crowded in the evenings.

I used to love going to this gym, even if the staff hardly ever greeted with a nice Hello. I moved to St. Croix 4 Months ago. 10 emails and 5 phone calls later, still being charged. I would definitely pay the initial fee not to be under contract. Their administrative abilities are poor.
