This is my favorite Austin studio. The owner and staff are all very nice and super well-trained. I get reminders and adjustments that help me make the best of every pose. I'm stronger, and my posture has improved. I've never left a class disappointed. The facility is very clean, and there are so many class options and times. I look forward to going back every time!

My friend brought me to their location in Brooklyn, NY for the first time and I fell in love there! I was so happy to find they have a studio in Austin. This space is so warm and welcoming when you walk in, and all of the instructors are fantastic!

Modo has my first experience with hot yoga and it's been fantastic. Great for all levels of practice.

I am in my early 50s and recently started attending hot yoga in an effort to combat some of the aches and pains that I am discovering go with age. I am not in great shape and have not done yoga for a long time, so it could have been quite intimidating. I have been so happy with how welcoming and non-judgmental all the instructors are. The Modo classes are easily adaptable to my fitness and flexibility level, and every time I am pleasantly surprised at how the classes fly by and how relaxed I feel when I leave. Highly recommended.

I have been impressed by every instructor at Modo. Their flows are original and interesting, their focus on form is helpful, and I always get a good workout. The minimalist, airy space is a wonderful place to practice, and the luxe locker room is a nice perk.

I'm really enjoying the classes I have attended. I'm a returning yogi with some experience under my belt, but am certainly rusty. Modo has offered me a level up from my original practice, offering strong core workouts within the routines, and a very welcoming environment. I plan to get a membership after my introductory period!

I LOVE THIS STUDIO. How much? Well I've been doing yoga on and off for about 7 years now and this is the first unlimited membership I signed up for without hesitation -- and only after 1.5 months of practicing there. I'm a big fan of flow, music and heated rooms. Hard to find at most studios. MODO has it all. Plus, THE PEOPLE!!! I feel accepted, welcomed, seen, appreciated and that started on day 1. Plus if you sign up for their unlimited membership you get all kinds of perks. I love not having to carry around my own dang mat and towels. The vibe of the studio is warm. The changing rooms come with showers and lockers. I could go on and on. Big shout out to Gillian and Lena for being badass instructors. Brad needs more classes that fit with my schedule (just kidding Brad, I get that it's not about me). Maggie is always a joy to see. Everyone there rocks. Long story short: GO!

Adding to the complain below me of Marisol Menendez.
To the co-owner Meghan. To be the co-owner which does not mean you are not prepared not trained to be a good receptionist.
A good receptionist would have said first that I was already late to class. A good receptionist would not have gotten lost looking in the computer making me even later to my class. All of this wait just to let me know that I do not have more classes left this month.
You never offered me water, never offered a free class, you never offered me to stay in the modo yoga place, and I have seen many times seeing students go in after the instructor.
Instead of being so argumentative, a good owner would apologize to their client. The costumer is always right specially if there is a problem that can be solved right away.

My mother was treated badly at reception by person named Meghan (black medium hair, Caucasian). Meghan told her that her 1 month trial was over and that if she wanted to get into class that she needed pay 12 dollars. My mother did not have her wallet, then she decided to walk away. I went after 1 hour and a half later to pick up my mother and she was not there. I asked, Meghan why did my mother not get into class and she told me because my mother was was late (I know it was less than 5 minutes, I want to show the picture of what time the call to me was which was after Meghan talked to my mother for 6 minutes 6:24 being the call but no pictures can be uploaded). So I do not know if my mother did not get into class because she was later OR because she was late. Receptionist need to be more concrete instead of debating that a student was late or not. Meghan also told me that she has a five minute policy after class start that they still let people in. Meghan proceeded to lie to me saying that my mother was 10 minutes late to calls which is false because it was 6:19 ( the picture below shows what time the call to me was) when she was going to go in BUT Meghan talked to her for 6 more minutes instead of just letting her in with the 5 minute policy or straight up telling her she was late (which Meghan did not do). It is A pity that the receptionist was a liar. This place needs to hire receptionists who are patient and inclusive with all kinds of clients.

This place has it all! Everything about it is smart. The owner is crafty and I enjoy hanging out at this place. My only complaint is having better playlist when we have music during our yoga sessions not just anything playing in the background.

Very amazing yoga experience with the unicycler Jimmy! Thanks for the zen experience and I appreciate the first time experience. I will definitely be coming back.

I've been going to Modo Yoga regularly for over a year, and what keeps me coming back are the wonderful teachers who translate their passion for and knowledge of yoga into classes that are engaging, challenging, and just plain fun (oh and the studio is beautiful and clean too :) ). I've been to other studios where yoga is almost a competition (where the teachers egged the students on ugh), but Modo Yoga is not that like at all. The teachers encourage me to push my boundaries but also not go too far and injure myself. They offer a variety of classes (heated, unheated, flow, freestyle flow, restorative, etc), so I can pick classes that suit my energy level and physical state. Finally, I love the challenges they put together (e.g., Game of Thrones Hydration Challenge and A Very Harry Christmas Challenge), which foster a sense of community and benefit good causes. All these things add up to a yoga community rather than a studio, and I highly recommend it to everyone else!

Fantastic hot yoga classes and great studio! Offers multiple daily options for both 60 and 90 min. classes.

I've only attended two classes - just started this week - and had Lena on Monday and Jimi on Thursday. I enjoyed both of them - they were different but both explained really well, went slow enough for me, a novice, to catch on. The facility is very nice - I was super impressed by the bathrooms and changing area, the showers, soap and shampoos available...you really don' t need to bring anything with you if you're planning on showering there. Staff is super nice and helpful.

I really enjoy the Modo Yoga studio at Midtown Commons. Been a member at this location for a little over a year. The entire staff is top notch. The locker room and shower areas are always extremely clean. The space is roomy and the hot yoga classes are always at a nice warm temperature.

love Everything about this place! My favorite yoga studio ever. Love the hands on assists, the quiet shavasanah beginning and completing each class, the fantastic instructors and the way they verbally guide you through a true yoga experience each time! Thank you Modo Austin!!
