Customer service is amazing. Fast and always there for customer needs. Wanted a barbell Mikey Carter directed me to the right bar for powerlifter. So if you want someone with knowledge of product to help you out Mikey is the guy. Once again I'm surprised how fast the delivery was.
The Blue Stretch Band is small but essential. Our gym uses them and some exercises cant be done without them. We have several at home. They are tough but will understandably stretch over time. So buy more than one. Better yet buy the 4 color pack and get a variety of stretches.
I bought a basic home gym set up from fringe sports, I was looking at rogue but found fringe to have better prices on racks and metal plates. Their barbell however is priced high. I picked up my stuff from the Austin location, but when I unpacked they had given me the wrong rack, I had to take it back and get the right one. The guys and gals that work there are cool and will help you out. I like supporting local businesses and taking advantage of local discounts.

Products are great for the price. They did arrive with a lot of cosmetic damage and minor fitment issues.
The weights are fantastic however I am disappointed with the experience. I ordered the weights online. I ordered a bulk set. They needed a breakdown of the kind of plates I wanted to make up my 500 pound set, 55s 45s 25s etc. The website told me to leave this breakdown in the "notes" section. That is exactly what I did. The weights were a gift. The site said I will receive my weights before Christmas. I was notified after placing my order that they needed a breakdown of the way I wanted the weights allocated. When I call the representative he acknowledged that the breakdown was already in the notes section and it should have been filled without any problems. I did not receive my weight set until two days after Christmas. That was very disappointing.
It's Fringe Sport!!! Best service anywhere, the customer always comes first. Blurry fast delivery and quality products. Fringe should be the model for all businesses. As we in New Mexico say, "It's not their fault they're from Texas."
Jason and Nick are the greatest. These guys went above and beyond and were the greatest people to do business with during the setup of my Physical Therapy clinic. I will continue to use them for all my exercise equipment needs and would HIGHLY recommend you do the same :)
5 stars for customer service. I initially had some quality issues with the bar, but Fringe was quick to reply to my email, and one short video later they had sent me a return slip and a new bar on the way. Nice actually dealing with a real person with quick responses.

Loved how quick the equipment shipped! Got it 4 days faster than expected, however missing the fringe bar clamps, which they quickly rectified. Also the black coating is coming off of our brand new bar where you place the weights. Not that I expected it forever, just longer than a weekend of mild use. Would have been 5 stars but a great budget purchase!

High quality equipment. Excellent customer service. Bumpers have little bounce and are very durable. 18+ months of throwing down 10's & 15's and they haven't bent at all. Inner rings are still intact and look brand new. Fringe Sport is an amazing company- you can't beat their prices and quality.

Some businesses are known either for the quality of their products, the competitive pricing on their products, or their superior customer service. Fringe Sport manages to fulfill all three of these criteria, and this makes it one of the best suppliers and businesses for weightlifting or CrossFit equipment.
Fringe Sport's goals are 1) to serve and help their customers to achieve their fitness goals, 2) to provide the best quality equipment at the most affordable price, 3) to be the go-to supplier of a niche market, i.e. garage gym owners and small CrossFit box owners, and 4) to make Austin not only the music capital of the world, but also the fitness capital of the world. Once you understand Fringe Sport's mission, then you can understand their business and type of products they sell.
Pros about FS:
1) The staff is concerned about getting to know their customers and fulfilling their needs, and they offer the best advice! If you are willing to be honest and talk with them about your budget, space, and fitness goals, they will tell you exactly what you need. They don't simply try to sell you their equipment. They are more concerned about your safety and not wasting your money or time.
2) FS has the best customer service when compared to any other weightlifting equipment supplier.
3) FS's equipment and stock is minimalist, functional, and economical. They have exactly what you need and that's it.
4) FS offers free shipping and free returns.
5) FS has an excellent guarantee and the best warranties.
6) FS routinely offers discounts (almost every two weeks)
7) FS has a local pick up discount at 10% off.
(Minor) Cons about FS:
1) Their website interface and graphic design is a little simple. I'd like to be able to have a site where I can make a wishlist, see my past orders, etc.
2) Their retail location is an open showroom, gym, and warehouse, so you're basically at the mercy of the outside weather. Even though they have a few fans to circulate air, it can be 90 degrees in the showroom because of the Texas heat. I'd love for them to have a water fountain, vending machine, and restrooms for the public, too.
3) I'll admit that some of the welds on their racks and rigs are not aesthetically pleasing, even if they are structurally sound. But, I have to keep telling myself, "This is weight lifting equipment and not fine furniture! It's meant to get used and still hold up!"
If you're going to compare Fringe Sport to Rogue, know that they serve similar markets but have different missions. Rogue's mission is to provide the best quality equipment that is made in America in order to help the American economy. But, Rogue's products are simply overpriced (which reflects the the cost of American manufacturing), Rogue doesn't offer free shipping or returns, and not all of its products are made in America (e.g. Kettlebells, HG 2.0 and Echo Bumper Plates, and their apparel/gear). Oftentimes high quality and low cost are at odds with one another, but Fringe Sport manages to achieve both by having excellent design and specifications on their products and a variety of manufacturers to make those products. Not every thing Fringe Sport sells is made in America, but this is so they can achieve that balance of quality and cost.
Unfortunately, Fringe Sport has received some negative reviews from people saying they didn't receive an item, an item came late, or the item arrived all banged up which resulted in some defects. There is some risk associated with online shopping because you cannot inspect the items for yourself. In some cases, a defect may be the dealer's fault, but it may also be the manufacturer's or shipper's fault. Usually, the dealer (i.e. Fringe Sport) takes the heat. Just know that Fringe Sport resolves any of those issues with their customer service.
Overall, Fringe Sport has set the bar high in their goals and mission, and they deliver! I have had nothing but positive experiences with Fringe Sport. If you have any doubts about buying from them, just call them or walk into their retail store.

The items on sale were pretty straightforward to begin with. I had my choice of what bumper plates to buy and did. Though my order went thru, Fringe sport contacted me on my order about a certain situation. Long story short, they are very tentative, very helpful and very understanding and made the adjustments to my order and ultimately smooth-sailing! Thank you fringe sport and their customer service!!

Great product! Very happy I purchased from Fringe. Got filler bags filled and loaded into sandbag without much difficulty. Definitely would recommend this for any garage gym athlete.

I ordered a set of bumper plates and a squat rack from Fringe. I'm very happy with both. They came in a very reasonable about of time (even during the busy holiday season). I've begun using both and am happy with them. The squat rack is sturdy and ready to get loaded up. The bumper plates seem very well constructed and will get a lot of use.
Absolutely love these guys! After doing EXTENSIVE research for my garage gym I decided to go with Fringe. I purchase, weights, barbells, squat rack, pull up bar, wall balls and an Ab mat. I ordered the mid sized sand kettlebell on a Tuesday after noon and received it on Thursday. Great service and order fulfillment. I dropped in my luggage and took it on vacation where it became a part of my morning workout. It is tough and well constructed. It is now part of my travel equipment and will remain so. I would recommend this to a friend.
Ordered to barbells. Men's bar came in a bit damaged from shipping. Fringe Sports was quick to address issue and follow up with shipping team to better protect shipped bars. Barbells are great quality for the price.
I ordered some contrast bumper plates recently and had a great experience. The plates are very high quality and are perfect for use in my garage.
