Impossible to cancel. I have been working on this for months. Even with my awesome trainers help... nothing, still paying. Never again!

Bad company. I believe most of the good reviews are trainers and people who work for the company. Money is their ONLY concern. They will make it difficult to cancel. They will ignore issues. They will send you to collections. Do not get involved with these people. There will probably be a response from the owner. This is just a way to try to make things look good.

What is the one and only reason a gym ever closes?

Love love love the early morning group classes -- CG Strong & Tabata with Caitlyn! She is super friendly and peppy (especially so early in the morning). I love the mix of weights, body weight and cardio. Her workouts have already helped me tone and become a stronger runner. Highly recommend her daily fresh routines.

CG Arena is great! I am always greeted with a smile and a clean towel. They offer a variety of fitness class at all times of the day. They are also constantly improving the facilities and equipment. The instructors do a great job of fostering a positive workout community.

I'm not one to do reviews. In fact, this is probably about one of five reviews i've posted in my life, but I was appalled by the service I received from an CG member (someone high up in the company). I recently had to put my account on freeze since I went back to school and my tuition includes the rec. center. I couldn't justify paying for both. However, I graduate in just a few months and was planning on going back to CG Arena after school was over. A CG rep recommended putting the account on freeze instead of cancelling to avoid paying for the application fee again. She did let me know that I have to call/come in to put the account on freeze every month. She did not let me know it would charge me a small fee every month to put my account on freeze (like $6, but still, why wouldn't you mention that?) September was the first month of the freeze. I forgot to put the freeze on in October and noticed right away that I was charged. This was an error on my part, but the way it was handled by CG was just ridiculous. I emailed Eddie E. politely asking for a refund as I have not used their services and he responded about a week later and completely disregarded my question and just asked if I wanted to cancel or continue the freeze. I decided to cancel since I had a feeling I would forget again. I thought it was strange that he didn't acknowledge the fee for October being refunded, so I asked him to confirm that it was cancelled. I got no answer. A few days later, I emailed him again trying to follow up. Still no answer. Called his direct line multiple times, no answer. Called the CG Arena multiple times this morning, no answer! Overall, I made about 10 contacts and got NO WHERE. The least Eddie could have done is told me he was unable to refund the fee, but instead, he left me hanging for weeks just checking my bank account to see if it was refunded! I wonder if I would have told Eddie to keep the account on freeze, if he would have refunded the fee. Finally, today, I called corporate after not getting through to Eddie or CG Arena, and Bailey was quick to resolve the problem and get the refund to me. Why did Eddie make it so hard? My guess- He gets a cut of the total memberships or some kind of bonus for the number of memberships. Bailey was polite, and kind, and resolved the situation, but because of the service received by Eddie, I have a bad taste in my mouth about this facility and will not be returning and will not recommend it either. It's sad when a business becomes this stingy with money that it's willing to compromise happy "campers."

Best Gym ever. Quality equipment, awesome staff, great renovation in the locker room showers. But most importantly, the trainers and classes they have are Top Notch. No other gym has the same positivity and community like CG Arena does!

I was approached this morning by Shay, one of the trainers at 'Camp Gladiator.' The company is having a promotion in front of the HEB on Dezavala. After he gave me his pitch, I inquired about the cost of the program. He said it was $70 bucks for 4 weeks. I was very interested, but let him know it just wasn't in the budget right now. He proceeded to push his pitch & then said, "Why don't you just pawn your beats headphones?" He then tried to give me a high five after he saw my facial expression. Not only was this an extremely uncomfortable situation, it was unprofessional, with little or no regard to myself as a consumer. Not only will I NOT consider this place for business again, I will be sure to let all my coworkers, friends & family know the unfortunate experience I had with 'Camp Gladiator' today.

I've been a member for close to 4 years and have been extremely satisfied with the classes, equipment, instructors and staff. If you're thinking about a gym with some group exercise classes thrown in the mix, then there's no time like the present. Join!

Of all the gyms I've tried this is my favorite. It's a large field room plus a few specialized rooms (spinning, boxing, dancing, weights). This place excels at classes - there are 20 or so per day. They range from yoga and dance to strength and athletic conditioning. The field gets insane - plyometrics and circuit training is big so be prepared to jump and push yourself. The classes are pretty intense but it's go at your own pace so if you need to step out for a min to rest it's not a big deal. Several are taught by former collegiate athletes so the instructors know what they're doing. The weight room is fairly new (
