Came to Austin on business and my instructor pointed me to this Paragon Jiu Jitsu. The class was full of upper belts and it was very tough training. Everyone was very welcoming and I felt like I was in my own gym. After the class several guys stayed and we cleaned up some positions. It was great experience, I will do it every time I am in Austin. I train at Alliance in Atlanta and was In Austin for business. Dropped by Paragon for the advanced class. Very welcoming environment and great detailed instructor. There were also a lot of tough guys in the class. I highly recommend Paragon Austin and will be back next time I am in town.

Great gym. Everyone is friendly. The mats are clean. There is a wide variety of talent, and a lot to learn from here.

Best competition focused school in the area. Robert, Jose, Jeremy and David are all really solid coaches. Tons of individual attention... You'll ask for help with one thing and five different people walk over to help.

This place is awesome. I went on Wednesday, and rolled with a few friends and the locals there. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone there is a killer. People are super humble, and just want to get better and have fun. Great place to train, and a great place for friends.

Visited my brother in Austin and stopped in to train. Robert and all his students were very welcoming and their jiu jitsu was very solid. Definitely will recommend this gym to any of my friends in Austin and hope to stop in again next time I'm in town.

I was able to do a bit of training here and had a really good time. The instructors are knowledgeable and clear. All of the people I rolled with were fun and tough. I will be back in the future.

I dropped in on the fundamentals class while traveling for work. Fantasic people, very helpful and extremely kind. I would recommend Paragon to anyone living in or visiting the Austin area!

Visited in December '16 for a couple of sessions. Great rolls, well broken down drills and techniques, super friendly & approachable training partners and coaches. Couldn't recommend it more. Even had spare gis for drop ins that I was able to borrow!
Also, a huge fan of the fans on a hot day.

Extremely friendly and approachable gym. The owner himself answered my email questions and recalled who I was when I arrived. Their fundamentals class is super interesting--Jose breaks things down effectively and there are plenty of higher level belts willing to work with you. I will definitely return.

My family is just visiting from out of town. My 12 yr old son needed a place to train for a day. Awesome place. they accepted us like we're friends for a long time. this is the place i will be bringing my kids to train. Prof Jose is amazing...thank you Prof Jose and Robert

I spent a few weeks in Austin and was lucky enough to train with these guys. It's hard to capture in words how unique and special this community is. The training is top notch, with a serious and focused attitude on technique and fundamentals. The community is stellar, the guys and gals were super kind to an out of towner such as myself. Lastly, these peeps go hard. The rolling at the end of classes is done at 120%, which I personally dig. I absolutely loved the training, community, and vibe of Paragon BJJ. If I lived in Austin I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Was in town for 24 hrs and looking for an early morning class. Went along to
Paragon and found this to be just what I wanted - straightforward, effective teaching style from black belt instructor Jose in a relaxed setting. I'd definitely come again - thanks guys!
