We have loved our time at Taekwondo Plus! Mr. Johnson and Ms. English are great with the kids! Our child has learned so much and continues to progress with Taekwondo and discipline. We will be here for a long time to come!
Master Johnson, Ms. English, and the other senseis are super nice and helpful. My daughter is quite shy and they have helped her come out of her shell. I'd highly recommend them.
My kids love going here. All the staff are really friendly and make great role models for the kids. My older son attends every afternoon and it is a great way to burn off his energy, while enhancing his discipline and focus.

I've been training at this jiu jitsu academy since Richard Giberson started it several years ago. My kids train here under Richard Johnson and his coaches. Its a great environment for all ages. What I probably like best other than the high quality technique is that it allows everyone to go at their own pace. From staying fit to competitive training.

I have had the pleasure of training with Senior Master Johnson a few times in my martial arts career. The only thing keeping us from training more often together is a 1000 mile journey from Phoenix to Austin. What an incredible and passionate instructor! His enthusiasm is always elevated and I'm sure diffuses down to the other amazing instructors. You will find no better than Taekwondo Plus!
Have had the pleasure of training under Master Johnson a couple times in my taekwondo career. He's been nice enough to travel to Phoenix Arizona a couple times to teach seminars at our academy. Great instructor! He's so great at keeping a focused class as well as throwing in some humor! Learned so much from him and I look forward to learning more in the future!
I trained at this location for quite a few years and know many of the instructors well. They are hard working and dedicated, they want to see students be successful in martial arts.
After moving out of state I am now a full time martial arts instructor, I credit my career to the team at South Austin TaeKwonDo Plus.
My son has been with Taekwondo Plus for I believe at least two years now. The instructors there do a really great job in teaching the students about taekwondo, as well as about life, responsibility, respect, etc. I've seen real growth in my son as he's been a student there including improved focus and perseverance. I appreciate the environment Mr. Johnson has created at his school and we've had a great time being there and getting to know other students and parents.
Mr. Johnson, Ms. English, Mr. & Mrs. Davis are fantastic instructors. All really care about the students both children and adults. I have confidence knowing my kids are learning in a safe environment. My older son has being off campus PE credit for AISD and my younger son has been learning confidence, skills and greatly improved his balance and coordination. I world recommend this place to anyone. Perfect for children and adults. They offer Taekwondo, yoga and Brazilian Jujitsu. There truly is something for everyone at a reasonable cost.
