I moved to Austin 3 years ago and did not know where to swim. So I tried out 4 to 5 places until I found this club, and I looked no further. This is the nicest pool I ever swam in. This is not only my second home, but I live a block from this club just to swim here. They have great swim coaches and gym trainers.

Based on costumer service i should give it 1 starts but just feel bad doing that to a local business. Based on there coaching its 6 stars.
Been here 4x; here are my experiences
-- got kicked off treadmill once since you can't use there nice workout room unless a employee is in there with you. This honestly seems nuts to me and a totally waste of a nice room with weights, stretching tools, treadmills, kickr trainers. I just don't get it why you can't use this room. I was told its liability; but hotels post a sign about working out at your own risk, gyms don't have employes on every floor. If you could join austin aquatics and have access to this space while they were open would make much more sense. Guess i just don't understand this part of Austin Aquatics.
-- master swim: they did a lot of back and fly, i would have rather had just timed free. Guess if you hit up morning classes they do more timed free.
-- 4 lesions: these were both great, last one was with Nate. 2 with Brendan. In just these 4 lessons i got a lot faster something that i have not been able to do for past yr. So A+++ here.
-- Costumer service: awful, one time i was there was trying to pay (this is normal when people are nice to you) the girl checking me out was just nasty and rude and lots of attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day idk but she should suck it up and be nice. It made me not want to go back, but the coaching i have received is top notch, just hope she is not around next time.

-- Update: the customer service has gotten better simply since they have automated everything. I still go here time to time still think the coaches are great.

I've been a runner my whole life, and a triathlete competing in Ironman events for the last four years. I've trained all over Austin, and this is the best swim/bike/run/strength facility I've ever set foot in. I know each of the coaches on a first name basis. They are outstanding. Each one excelling at the top of their craft.

If you are a seasoned triathlete or training for your first event... If you just want to get in shape, start swimming, or stay fit...whatever your goals are...you are welcome here! You'll train hard, dig deep, be challenged, have fun, and meet amazing people!!

This place is my second home and where I have met so many people I consider the closest of friends. I love my coaches and the attention, time
and energy they provide to every athlete. The gains I have made here in just over a year far exceeded my expectations. I keep showing up and under their direction keep on getting better and better. I really love it here. Happy to call AASA my second home.

It's all here and more: wonderful temperature controlled outdoor pool open year round; constructive, passionate coaches; lots of good swimmers to keep you humbled. Also, the place is an academy for helping teach young kids to swim and overcome obstacles. Good place with a good vibe!

Amazing coaching staff and top notch training facility! My only complaint is there's hardly ever someone at front desk to ask questions to, so most communication has to be done via email. Overall pleased with the quality of training and will be back after summer break.

I have done trained here for well over a year, swim, run, bike, strength. This place is awesome. The pool is simply amazing. The coaches are fantastic. I have been pushed to new athletic heights since enrolling here. There are a complete range of athletes here who I find are very supportive, and with the breadth of top notch coaching this place simply rocks. 10/10
