This place is fantastic! I just wish there was one of these in Lubbock. I thought about going to Crunch but I'm glad i didn't. I was there for work, and hotel gyms leave a lot to be had. This place has a little of everything for everyone. My favorite was the deadlift/Olympic platforms. I just wish my gym had a dedicated DL/oly platform. What I didnt see was farmers handles, and that would have been awesome. This place doesn't really do strongman, but more weightlifting, body building, crossfit and powerlifitng. Doesn't feel like a commercial gym like Crunch, or planet fitness but more personal like a smaller gym would even though this place has a freaking football field outside.
I would probably recommend opening more locations, (midland/Odessa, amarillo, lubbock) also maybe partnering with local hotels and have their guests come there and workout for free. Icon Fitness does this with Hampton, days inn, marriot in abilene. Zach's club in amarillo does this as well with best Western, holiday inn, local apartment complexes. Also the day pass and week pass prices are kind of steep. I was only there for 2 days and paid for a week pass because a day pass is 10 bucks. Week pass (7days) is 20 bucks. If a day pass was 5 bucks i would be okay with that. Or like Paynes gym in odessa does is give you a card and they punch it out when you buy a week pass (5 days) costs 25 bucks, but i can workout 2 days, come back 6 weeks later, workout 2 more days and i still have 1 day left on my "punch card"
Some of the locations i go are saturated with gyms, but a majority of them dont offer all things that this place does. Like I said this place has everything except strongman, but they have sleds and areas to do farmers carries with dumbbells.
Equipment is legend for the most part, I did see a Texas power bar and iron grip bar so you know this place has some $$$ invested into it. All that for 30 bucks a month? Can't say enough about this place!
