The Hixson Sports Barn is hands down the best gym in Hamilton County. Beautiful facility with hypnotic views of the sky. A cool inviting environment that makes you want to exercise. Equipment that is clean and always repaired quickly. Nice genuinely friendly employees who make you feel welcome. What more could you ask for? This particular Sports Barn facility truly is...THE BEST. All the other gyms pale in comparison.

Just gonna say for the amount you pay to have a membership here it should be open 24 hours and have updated equipment. It's a decent gym, better than golds and 24anytime but definitely not a great gym
The downtown Sports Barn is my favorite gym and I have been a member of many across Chattanooga over the years. I was a member for about 10 years and then left for about 10 years when my kids were too old for childcare and too young to work out and moved around gyms, always missing my SB home. After a year of being back, I can say the staff is very friendly, the equipment constantly tweaked and improved, and best of all, the facility is clean, especially the ladies locker room. I love the variety of classes, the ability to get a workout no matter how crowded and the general vibe of the place. Each branch has a different vibe and my fav is downtown. Kudos.
This was a place in loved in high school and college. After moving back from Nashville I can tell the place isn't the same. The owner/and or manager is extremely unethical. They will fool you in signing a crontract you don't know is s contract...I thought I was signing a tour. Over cell phone! When I realized that they had discontinued the pool I told the secretary that a talked to that I'm no longer interested. Very long story to long story short .They charge your credit card to an ambiguous account . After I changed credit cards (they made me change from embossed to laser script) my account became delinquent. Fast forward they turned my account over to a law firm/credit firm hounding me for the full amount of the contract plus intrest . I'm willing to work a reasonable resolution but they aren't .They completely Hoodwinked me . People are just bad

We love being members of the Sports Barn and for about a million reasons! You have access to all 3 locations, great facilities, a lot of different classes, wonderful staff and service, 2 hours of childcare, nice amenities, great location for a parking garage if you also get a parking pass for the downtown location, and good value for membership pricing. These are only my reasons, but there are so many more.

A bit pricey, probably the best gym in town though. Can get very crowded in the mornings.

Best gym in the Chattanooga area. They offer the gym, free classes with membership, heated outdoor pool, sauna, and steam room. Also the gym is very clean and in good repair.

Wasn't aware that the parking was $25. Absolutely ridiculous considering it isn't posted anywhere. And after we pushed the help button we were given major attitude and told they don't have to post the price because it's private property. Shame on you. Makes you look rude and money hungry.

I joined in January of 2015 and so far I LOVE sports barn! My memberships is reasonable and the classes and instructors are amazing! They are always willing to help. Lisa blevins circuit breaker class is excellent. She is a terrific instructor who will push you to do your best. I go to the downtown and east locations and I have met a lot of wonderful people. I am so glad I joined sports barn. I feel better, I look better because of all the classes and help from the instructors. You cannot find a better gym in Chattanooga.
