This is an awesome little gym tucked away in South Side on Chestnut Street. There's parking in a nice lot just feet from the front door. The gym is beautiful and clean with exposed brick walls and beautiful wood beam ceilings with lots of windows and natural light coming in. The decor is not the typical harsh bright colors of a Rush or Gold's. There's a group exercise room, another separate training area up on the mezzanine, a full set of cardio equipment with TVs and a fully equipped free weight and Hammer Strength weight machine area.

The gym has tons of different group exercise classes taught by individual instructors, NOT the franchised McDonald's workout of the month that you get at a big chain gym taught by someone that took a weekend class. They have nationally certified personal trainers and help with nutrition. District 6 offers bootcamps and group programs if you need help with motivation.

Staff are super friendly and the gym is kept immaculately clean. All the equipment is state of the art and brand new. They even provide lockers with a lock for your valuables. My wife does the group exercise classes and I lift weights so we have everything that we need all in a convenient location. And to top it off, the membership is an unbelievable bargain. There's nowhere that you can have access to all that equipment AND group exercise classes for such an inexpensive membership. If you don't check out District 6, you're missing out.
