Ride from East Providence to Bristol, RI on the best paved trail around ! Always places to stop and/or eat. Bristol is always a trip worth doing... Restaurants everywhere not to ignore the views or Colt Park. 14 miles each way from E.P., and if you've got energy, continue north thru Providence to the Blackstone River Bikeway !
Highly recommended! Excellent paved bike path with geogeous views and well marked intersection crossings.
super duper cool! nice view on the bay there are a few little hidden parks off the path so keep an eye out for nature reserves and things like that.
Beautiful vistas of the bay as you leave Providence, and then in the middle of the trip there's lots of fun places to rest and take a break.
Love it. 13 miles each way. Beautiful, mostly watery views. Easy, crossing when needed- which is numerous times. If you end in Bristol- eat at Adrians- great place, unbelievable cheap prices, large portions considering the location. I love this place. If you aren't riding your bike and you want to try different beer tastings- great place for that too! The bike path is however a sure to please paved, well marked joy ride.
Fantastic long and winding bike path from Providence to Colt State Park and beyond!
Everyone from walkers to bikers to blazers and strollers
Winds up in India Point Park in Providence
This is a sweet way to see the coast and woods while expanding your lungs and your views!
Beautiful scenery but the path can get very busy. Watch out for little kids on bikes...
Great time of the year to go on the bike path .
The whole length of the path has been repaired and or resurfaced with new painted lines along the way..... In recent past, tree roots were buldging up thru the blacktop and made for a bumpy ride, all fixed now. A very enjoyable bicycle ride.

A must go place if you love to bike.
Ranging from Providence to Bristol RI, you can't best the East Bay Bike Path. Though areas (particularly closer to Providence) are not shaded, the majority offers a breeze from the ocean and significant shade, making it an enjoyable ride on even more heated days. There are little to no hills and a number of conveniences or scenery stops along the way.
In Riverside, you can stop by Dairy Bee for ice cream, Bullocks General for water/trail mix/granola bars, or Borealis Coffee for a cold brew, scone, or local donut. In Barrington, you can jump off the path to easily access gelato, Shaw's, Vienna Bakery, the library, Starbucks, etc. As you go through Warren, there is a Del's, bike shop, and convenience stores right along the path. You can also jump off and take a few minute ride to go to Warren Town Beach and Blount (our favorite excursions!). In Bristol, you can leave the path for Colt State Park, which is beautiful and only crowded on holiday weekends. You also hit the Audobon Society, Sip n'Dip, and other "amenities" before arriving at Independence Park.

Excellent path for bike ride with the kids or alone
A very wonderful bike path. Going from Providence to Barrington there is some beautiful scenery of the water. It's especially beautiful when you go at sunset. An awesome place for some great backdrops to some pretty pictures that you take with your family. The only downfall is on the weekends it's extremely busy.

I enjoy so much ,with a special view and over looking water is refreshing . I spend alot of time there.
Great bike path, takes you through a scenic route with trees, and nature, and a lake and the ocean. It's clean, has no potholes or anything, and is big enough so that you don't run into congestion problems or traffic issues on the path
It has a 13 .1 miles long visible path so there and back is 26.2 an exact marathon distance great for my practice runs plus its beautiful
Well maintained and beautiful bike path complimented by equally beautiful landscapes and back waters on either side. Good for running as well as it's not over crowded and yet not isolated. View of Providence city from the path itself is worth the trip!
Beautful place to walk or ride your bike
One of the greatest bike paths I rode
