A place that leads by example
Wow, great place when you're a member...but look out once you decide to leave...they immediately turn into a pathetic business with no customer service whatsoever. Long story short...we were caught in the rift between Etchfit and Alliance (not sure about details)...and wanted to retain our trainer who went w/ Alliance. Our annual membership was up mid Jan so I called to cancel (now that's when you really see what type of customer service a company has)...and asked to have the cancellation form sent to me or locate one on their website. NOT A CHANCE!!! They told me I must come into their office and fill out a cancellation form in person (I'm guessing they never heard of scanners, or email, or digital forms, or Adobe...or anything like that!!! I told the woman I was on a business trip and couldn't make it in until Friday, 11 jan 2019 to no avail. I stop on 11 Jan in the am to fill out the form (which took them over 10 minutes to locate)...and believe everything is settled. Not so fast...just checked my CC account and what do i find...another charge from them dated 16 jan. I just got off the phone w/ them and they explained that they have a '7 day cancellation policy' and i missed it by a day...so they charged by CC for the month. No apology...just matter of fact. So the bottom line here is this place sucks and that's my opinion!!
