I have attended two prenatal yoga classes here and loved it. Lisa is wonderful instructor. I highly recommend!
My husband and I had a great experience with the Second Time Around Birthing class. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and excellent about offering tips suited to each participant's desires for pain management and delivery without judgement. I also really enjoyed Shining Light's prenatal yoga classes during my first pregnancy. Highly recommend!
Deena was an excellent educator! She was engaging and personable. We enjoyed our classes throughly! I am so happy I decided to go out of my way for the experience.
I took the Confident Birthing and Breastfeeding Essentials class at Shining Light and also hired them as doulas for my birth. I could not have been happier with the services. The doula services were particularly helpful to ensure that I was well prepared and all went well at my child's birth. I would highly recommend both the doulas and the classes.
I can't say enough good things about Shining Light. My pregnancy and birth experience would have been so different (and much more difficult) without the invaluable guidance and support that Deena and Marilyn gave so generously and consistently. From birthing classes to prenatal yoga, everything was wonderful.

I recommend the Nourish package because it includes confident birthing/Lamaze, infant care, and breastfeeding essentials. Deena has been an integral part of our preparation for our first baby! She makes sure everyone has a voice, calms anxieties and is an amazing resource as a doula, instructor, yogi, and all around peaceful soul.

While it took time to cover the material never once did I have the feeling of "time standing still" unlike some of my college classes. I contribute that to Deena's teachings style which is a mix of book instruction and practical exercises. This made for a fun, enjoyable, and informative experience! I would not hesitate for a second in recommending Shinning Light to anyone that asks! They are an amazing group of people!
