The Kroc Center is such a wonderful asset for the community of Camden New Jersey. If you are trying to stay healthy and body or elevate yourself spiritually and mentally this is the island of hope in the Sea of Camden. It is a beautiful facility that is expertly maintained and staffed by dedicated and intelligent employees. It is a wonderful place to spend a day knowing you will leave refreshed and reinvigorated.
An absolute jewel of a facility. Clean, well maintained, top range fitness equipment, fantastic staff experience. This place is so much more than a rec. facility. It offers big club professionalism with next door neighbor friendliness, and unbeatable pricing. Swimming lessons, American Red Cross Lifeguard courses, Aqua Exercise, Spin, Yoga, Pickleball, Basketball, Summer Camps. Pretty much everything is offered here.
This is my home away from home. Everyone here always greets you with love and respect. Love to participate in all the workout classes like aerobics, yoga, spin and more. The Olympic swimming pool is so relaxing. I love to spend my days off working out here.
Beautiful place with amazing pool and water park. A terrific gym as well and great classes! A true community gem.
This facility is amazing
It has something for the entire family. The class mustructors are top notch.The pools are beautiful. 8 lane lap.pool a 10 person hot tub , a lazy river walking pool, two areas for children, and area for aquatic exercise instruction. The gym and exercise rooms are very well equipped .Many other classes are offered from dancing to finance.All facilities are well.maintained. They have many insurance based. Programs for seniors. Also they offer Silver Sneakers and the Silver SPLASH programs. Check out membership prices ; very very reasonable. All of this is thanks to the SALVATION ARMY who manage a beautiful facility with a Christian based outlook and involvement in the community.There is also ample parking spaces at no charge. Come and take a tour.
Our Church Renaissance Church Ministries had an event there on July 27, 2019. Vance Johnson Former NFL player of the Denver Broncos was the guest speaker. IT WAS AMAZING!! The center and staff were very accommodating. We would love to have more events there in the future!!

Update as of July 2018. Car was vandalized. Catalytic converters stolen while parked during the day time. Security camera did not reveal anything. Beware of the side lot first row

If I can rate this lower then 1 star I would, this place has the most rudest people I ever encountered, me and my husband and brothers came here to swim and the lifeguards would stare so viciously like they had a problem with Hispanics and us minding our business we just came there to have fun and all put in money to relax and have family time but them lifeguards made us feel extremely uncomfortable I rather pay 40 dollars to go too Clementon park and feel welcomed then to ever step one foot back into the Kroc center. Hire some people that wants to do there job and gets along with all race and have good customer service instead of hiring these no good racist bigots. Y'all lost 5 faithful customers will NEVER go back ever again.

Rude Service, so typical. If you hate your job so much then just quit, no point on making everyine else miserable with you. Staff needs training on customer service skills.

This is a wonderful Community Center up-to-date. Parents with bringing their kids to do thing. And enjoy that day. Outstanding Community Center For the Community.
Good quiet gym, sometimes there are too many people in the gym where none of the machines are available but the classes they provide make up for that. Good hours, nice people.
This place is awesome! We went for a birthday party in the water park, and I think we will probably get a membership. The facility is brand-new and spotlessly clean. The water park has a big water slide, a lazy river, and a shallow sprayground area. They have life jackets you can use, as well.
Attended the Tuesday 10 a.m. bible study. Found it to be a group devoted to the Word and the Lord Jesus Christ. I felt welcomed and comfortable enough to partake in discussion of Scripture. Good fellowship too. Definitely coming back.
Excellent facilities. Water park is great for the kids. Family memberships are extremely reasonable.
Its God's house, except God's house with a water slide boi!!! Inexpensive, the crowd of people is "ok" that the center attracts given the area, but there are so many amenities it doesn't even bother me

Admittedly, I wasn't here for the usual reasons - my performing group had a few shows here. But it was a lot of fun, and the staff was super helpful about everything, so I have to imagine the whole place is run with the same enthusiasm and positivity.
Our family membership has been appreciated and utilized. Swimming basketball exercises community programs. I am extremely happy. We love this place
Is a really nice place to visit with the family. Especially when they have activities for the community. Is a lot a person can choose from when they come here but most of the programs are not free.
It's a very nice Community Center. The reason I didn't rate it higher, is the parking is not that friendly. They have so parking spaces in front of the building, very few Handicap space. Entrance into parking area, is One Way driving.

The Kroc Center/Salvation Army is a wonderful place. If you want to experience respectful children and be in the presence of respectable adults, then you want to go to the Kroc Center/Salvation Army. I'm proud to be a member.
Beautiful place with friendly staff. Lots of lifeguards on duty at the pool/slide area. My son attended a birthday party here and had lots of fun. Easy to find off street parking. Well maintained.
