Had the pleasure of training here for a few days while in Philly for work. Very welcoming gym, clean and well equipped. All staff and other students were awesome and the classes are great. Highly recommend. All be back whenever I'm in Philly.

Really loved the intro class, Justin broke down all the fundamentals and even though I've been doing krav for years it was a good refresher. Can't wait to get started

I have been training at Stay Fly for about 6 months. Justin is an excellent teacher with a ton of experience. If you want to learn Muay Thai from a professional this is your place, great atmosphere and people. I highly recommend!

This is a fantastic gym. The head coach is a great teacher. The community is friendly and knowledgeable about real Muay Thai. I felt comfortable and welcomed right away. If I lived in Philly I would train here everyday.

This place is awesome! It is so welcoming to newcomers and while it can be a bit intimidating sometimes, everyone is super helpful and supportive. You get a serious workout but not at the expense of learning and drilling proper technique. I would recommend this place to beginners and veterans alike. It has something for everyone!

Justin is the reason why fell in love with Muay Thai. When it comes to combat sports for fitness or sport, Justin takes safety seriously. He doesn't allow anyone to strike hard because he wants everyone to live a long and healthy life. For Stay Fly's strength and conditioning program, he hires the best fitness coaches that understand the human body so you can be strong and pain free with your movements.

Justin, the owner & proprietor of Stay Fly, and a professional Muay Thai fighter, is probably the nicest guy I know. His gym reflects this, and is the opposite of the stereotypical attitude-filled combat sports gym. Justin, the other instructors, and the students are all friendly and accepting, whether you're brand new (you'll get a personalized intro on day 1) or are already fighting regularly. With classes that focus on beginners, advanced techniques, strength & conditioning, fitness, Olympic lifting, and fight training, there's something for everybody. If you're still reading, you owe it to yourself to check this place out!

After joining SFMT (coming from a MMA gym), I've seen my skills and techniques level up dramatically, and even got in a few amateur bouts! Can't say enough good things about the gym, the classes, the strength program, and the people that regularly come here. Justin does a phenomenal job at breaking down techniques and combinations, and the classes are always a killer workout and fun. No egos here. All skill levels welcome. You'll have a blast training under the Purple People Eater.

Top notch. The best Muay Thai school in Philly with a cast of knowledgeable and lovable characters as the coaching staff.

My time at Stay Fly has been great. The instructors all do their best to train everyone equally and efficiently. I plan to stay there for a long time to come.

Amazing people and staff. No pushy gym bros and focus on making you enjoy your time at the gym and learning proper technique. Very excited to one day be part of the family.

March 19, 2018 12:44

The Muay Thai training alone is solid - coaches are knowledgeable, and those who train there are extremely helpful to each other, especially to newbies. This, in addition to the strength & conditioning classes, has me in the best shape of my life. There are enough classes throughout the day to fit even the busiest of schedules. No frills, no egos, no muss, no fuss. Stay Fly ... just get here.

This place is amazing. The gym has plenty of space, the instructors are all incredible, it's members are super welcoming, and it has it's own parking! I'm all about putting quality over convenience, but this place has both.

The guys and gals at Stay Fly are fantastic. The classes are intense but not intimidating at the same time. The instructors try to keep things laid back yet there is always an emphasis on technique. There are members who compete regularly and also members that just want a great workout. Additionally, there are also free weights (squat racks, dumbbells etc) and heavy bags too, in case you want to do some solitary work. Bottom line is if you're in Philly and want to train Muay Thai, I highly recommend Stay Fly.

I love this place! Before coming to Stay Fly I had absolutely zero experience with Muay Thai. I normally go to a traditional gym to lift weights and do cardio, but after relocating to Philadelphia, I was looking to step outside of my comfort zone a bit. I'm glad I did! Stay Fly has a real family feel to it. The instructors and the other students are approachable and always happy to help you with your technique. The classes are really fun, and the time flies by when you're training. Overall, it's been a great experience. Not only have I been able to get a good workout in, but I've also been given the chance to meet people and be a part of a community.

I currently train at Stay Fly and I really love this place. I trained with Justin at another gym before he opened Stay Fly on his own. When he told me he was doing this, there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to go with him. He's a great trainer and has made me a much better fighter in the short time that we've known each other. As a matter of fact, I just won my first Muay Thai bout a few weeks ago. :)

The camaraderie that you will find here among the students and fighters is special. Literally every single person here has respect for the art of Muay Thai and brings positive vibes to the gym.

you know when someone asks you about something that you think is awesome, sometimes it's hard to even describe it? ask me about Stay Fly Muay Thai. i have so many good things to say about it, i don't know where to start.

the owner/head instructor, Justin, is the man. he's extremely knowledgeable, extremely skilled, and all around a great dude. train with him once, and you'll be able to see that Muay Thai is his passion pursued. if you are interested in Muay Thai, he will do anything to help you toward your goals. show up ready to learn, and he'll deliver. every time.

the quality of the training is world class. you will learn technique from the best in the business; you will go through hard training sessions; you will probably sweat and bleed. and it's all worth it. there's a great camaraderie at Stay Fly, and a lot of tough training partners who will boost your game.

the gym and equipment are all great. two rings, tons of pads, tons of space. everything about Stay Fly is legit.

the breakdown: awesome instructors, awesome training partners, ....train at Stay Fly. get awesome.

I just started training Muay Thai in October and be careful, its addicting. I looked around at a couple of gyms first and I mentioned to a friend of mine that I was looking at Stay Fly and he told me to jump on it. "Justin has great energy" he said. A little weird but he was right, and the gym follows suit. You would think a place filled bunch of dudes and chicks punching each other in the face would be a little rough but its totally the opposite. All of the students I've met are the nicest people you would ever want to train with. Its a little unnerving going in and knowing absolutely nothing about Muay Thai, but everyone there is helpful and supportive. Everyone had their first day and they try their best to not make you feel like a complete goofball, although goofing around isn't off limits either. Also, I wanted to try and get in shape so I could concentrate on technique while I was there but that same friend said theres no point. "Nothing will get you in shape to fight, except fighting." So true! so call up and do It! Talk Less, Do more. Fighters Fight!
