Really enjoy the welcoming energy of this place. It has free 2.5 hour parking and the place is clean, what more do you want. Oh yeah, machines! At least you don't feel like you have to wait for a machine. You can always do something while you wait. Can't wait to try out the salted pool, only 4.5 feet deep. There are all kinds of people, young and old, skinny and not-so-skinny. Intimidation is not a factor here.

This was an incredible workout. The first half spent in the cardio studio had great instruction by Shannon with high energy music that kept me motivated. Then moved into the weight studio which pushed me to my limits. I think the change of scenery mid work out is really refreshing. The bathroom was well stockedAnd clean which I appreciated. I wish there had been lockers available instead of cubbies but will better prepare for next time

Honestly one of the most intense workouts in Philly! First half of class is either on a treadmill or bike and the secondal half is in the weight room where you're pushed to lift heavy. Trainers and front desk workers are amazing and take the time to get to know you. Philly east location is also very clean with shower and lockers. Class prices/packages are pricey but competitive with similar Philly gyms.

If you're looking at this review just book the class already you will not regret it!

I love unite so much! As a former athlete I was looking for something super intense and this gives me that! Malik Jones' class is killer and he pushes you to your limit with the best music and great energy! You'll leave feeling like a beast after this class! Highly recommend taking Malik's classes at Rittenhouse or Philly East to get that post workout feel-good and take your body to the next level!

Hardest workouts in Philly. You won't be disappointed.

I have been an on and off patron for some years now. Unite fitness provides a great workout experience every time. However, in regards to the nutritionists, I'd say throw the whole department away. My experience with multiple employees in this department on various occasions has shown them to be poorly informed, highly incapable, and unresponsive. And unwilling to provide information to clients when they realize that they aren't in a position to provide a solution. Which is, needless to say, problematic. Unite fitness is ideal, fitness wise. But I wouldn't recommend the nutritionists there. You'd be wasting your time.

What a work out!

Unite is a great space to get your gym time in. The whole concept is to have access to both classes and a gym that you may do separately from one another. In addition, they want to provide a fitness regime that will hit all the muscle groups - giving you a "united" front for that summer bod.

To start, there are two locations, I went to the one east of Broad Street and was pleased with the opportunity. It is located in a traffic heavy area, so if you're driving in (like myself) be sure to plan ahead for parking and what not when getting to this location. The actual gym is at an upstairs location so you have to take the stairs around the corner from the proper address to have access.

Inside, it's well lit, there is a full gym that opens up to the right, after passing through the narrow opening hallway and the registration desk. There is also a cardio room and a open floor space area where most of the classes are taught. They provide complimentary towels, and filtered water (must bring your own water bottle), as well as some snacks/water for purchase.

I found that I got a great work out in each time I participated in a class. There was both cardio and strength exercises involved. The classes pushed me and included different movements concentrating on multiple muscle groups of the body.

They do have different membership packages, from an unlimited program, to varying class only package sizes. This is nice since it gives you options and the ability to tailor your membership to your needs. There are also student discounts available. The employees are nice and friendly, and many of them work the desk and teach the classes so it's nice to interact with them in case you have questions on form or what their schedule of classes are so you can plan accordingly.

Overall - happy with the work outs and am looking forward to my next stop in!

Great workout and better community

I tried the free trial class. I looved it but I just felt like there's no way I can swing the price. So then I took the class through class pass for a couple months. But 3x a month just wasnt enough. The more I thought about it I felt like if you should splurge on anything, its your health.
I feel like this is almost like personal-training level workouts. So I finally just signed up for the unlimited plan. So happy I did!

This is honestly the first time I've been a regular gym member - I LOVE the way the class makes me feel. I would never come this regularly and work this hard on my own at a regular gym. Also as an added push they charge you $10 if you don't show up to a class so it holds you accountable. Also love how each trainer has their own quirks and jams. Keeps things spicy

Honestly just give it a try!! You won't regret it.

I've only been going for 3 weeks and I am so hooked that I actually look forward to getting my ass kicked every day.
It started with the free trial class, then led to the 8 class/month - which I could easily have finished in 2 weeks but spread it out. I was itching to go more! This led to a jumpstart unlimited classes with nutrition training and I go 5-6 times a week!
The classes are challenging but not so hard on your body that you can't do it daily. I give myself 1-2 days break depending on how I feel. You leave feeling so proud and happy about what you've accomplished for the day that it's addicting to go, it never gets boring. All the reviews on here discuss the typical lass so I won't go much into that, except to say that each class feels different and fun. You work at your own pace/ability and it's totally a non judgmental atmosphere!
The trainers are the real stars of this gym - they are motivating, fun, encouraging, warm and friendly. They stay after class in case you have an issues you wanted to bring attention to.
I wish I had started sooner!

I found UNITE last July and I hope I will never have to leave because of some life changing events. UNITE has changed the way I think and feel about working out and how I view nutrition which essentially has changed my life: stronger , leaner, fitter, mentally better. At UNITE, I feel encouraged by the best coaches, I feel challenged by the workouts, I feel inspired by the community and the people, I feel supported, and I am NEVER BORED!
UNITE truly cares about their members which shows from the way you are treated from the second you walk in. The coaches get to know you, and help you improve everyday. Joining UNITE is truly one of the best things I have ever done.

I've been working with Jesse as a personal trainer for a few months now and I must say, the insight that he's been able to provide has been life changing. He has helped me get to the root of some issues that have made it very difficult for me to not only exercise effectively for many years, but also function day to day. The whole vibe of Unite Fitness is comfortable, clean, modern, welcoming and at the same time, intense. You walk into the space and you feel like they get it. It's not just about the workout. It's about eating well, believing in yourself and finding the tools you need to succeed. I'm so glad I found Unite and have gotten myself on a path to success. I highly suggest checking them out if you're looking for a place to start getting into shape, or to take your fitness to the next level.

I found Unite Fitness four years ago through a google search for the best workout in Philadelphia -- Not only did I find the best workout, but I found the BEST coaches, the greatest of friends, and the loveliest, most supportive community!

I've tried out every workout and gym in Philly and nothing compares to the workouts and care I receive from Unite Fitness. :) The feeling of positivity in the (sweat-entrenched) air and excitement for always getting better and stronger keep me coming back to Unite Fitness! :) so happy to have found you guys!
