The Best! The yoga experience at Sanctuary Yoga & Mindfulness leaves my body feeling better and my soul nourished! Kilkenny teaches in a way I understand the poses better and takes my practice to a new level. She has an amazing team of experienced, knowledgeable and truly caring instructors. I feel so lucky to have this studio in Philadelphia.

I recently moved to Philadelphia and began practicing yoga here and have been loving it! Valentina is my favorite instructor and always makes sure you are feeling comfortable and getting the most out of your practice. I highly recommend.

I've been going here since they opened about a year ago and love it. All the instructors are able to handle classes that have a mix of skill levels, but most courses are titles for a certain level (gentle, every one, advanced, edge**)

**the edge class is only offered once a week and is mostly attended by the more practiced yogi's.

I was confused why the building was locked at 6:50am when their first class was at 7am. Luckily, an instructor walked up about 10 minutes of me standing outside and explained how to use the call-in box located outside of the door to get inside.

The studio is small, but very appealing. The instructor was kind and offered many pointers on how to correct my stances. There was another person in the class whose first time it was and the instructor was very patient and kind in helping him.

Will definitely be returning.

Sanctuary is the best neighborhood studio one could find. It's intimate classes and incredibly thoughtful, skilled and kind instructors create a special environment and unique experience each time you go. The mindfulness meditation classes are something you won't find anywhere else in the city and are not to be missed. Anyone looking for a yoga studio in Philly should try this one - you will not be disappointed.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sanctuary Yoga and Mindfulness. The instructors are highly educated, helpful and beautiful people, but also the aura of Sanctuary yoga heals the mind, body and soul-full of compassion, self awareness and encourages sitting with all that we are in the moment. Kilkenny will change your life, everyone should take time for her class, its a win-win!

I spent many months searching for a yoga home when I moved to Philadelphia. I am happy to say I found mine at Sanctuary Yoga and Mindfulness! This is one of the most welcoming studios I have ever been to. Kilkenny (owner) has done an excellent job of featuring top-notch teachers and instruction. You will learn how to do postures in a safe way and will be sure to have fun too. And stay for mindfulness mediation (offered every day)! Join our kula!
