One of the best studios in Philadelphia. The best studio if you consider long term practice, expect improvement and progress in your practice, and if you like "like home" atmosphere. The location: central location, easy parking. The space: clean and simple, this is dedicated yoga studio (and not some gym converted into...) with all needed equipment and relevant atmosphere. Great Hot Yoga room, huge 2nd room, much space to chill before / after class, and great selection of books and intense. Respect!
The teachers: by far the most interesting combination in the city - if you interested in progress. They will answer any question and advice on almost any condition you might have. Impressive!

Over all, after 7 years in yoga world wide, and after 2 years searching Philadelphia studios - this is my favorite.
Enjoy!

Bombay is a place where advanced and novice individuals can both practice side by side. The welcoming staff is friendly and eager to help people grow and learn. They also have a wide schedule to accommodate early and late preference with class tailored to specific interest. Three thumbs up.

This was the best yoga experience I've ever had! My sister and I were in the city for the weekend and decided to go to a yoga class on a whim. This studio was so welcoming and comfortable. We were totally unprepared, but they provided us mats, water, towels, even hair ties for free! All the studios I've been to in Baltimore charge to borrow a mat, towel, or bottled water. Our teacher was amazing. I have been doing yoha for a few years, but this was my sister's first class. For me the practice was challenging and had a great flow, yet my sister was able to learn the positions and keep up with the class. I'm so impressed, I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Philadelphia.

This is my favorite yoga studio!!!! The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. My practice has improved, I have learned new poses, and most of all, I've had fun! Definitely my favorite place to get a work out and relax.

I may be bias, but this is by far my favorite studio in Philly. The neighborhood, the community of teachers and students, the shared practice, it's wonderful. Bombay has two large studio rooms for both heated and traditional vinyasa classes and a full schedule and list of workshops. All of the teachers are educated and informative but always relaxed. Class sequences vary but all are challenging with an emphasis on cultivating your best self practice and growing, which I love. Plus there's a lounge to hang out and read in, use wifi or chat about yoga & life at the bar. It's home away from home.
