Great staff and private gym setup

I've been going to Philly Phitness since the Fall and can't recommend them enough! The owner, Perry, has assembled a great group of trainers in quite a nice facility. I've been training specifically with Dave. It's my second time working with a trainer in my life, but the first time I ever felt comfortable and motivated! Dave took the time to understand my goals: to become stronger, tone up, and become better balanced. He ensures that I always practice good form which led me to not injure myself working out anymore. He's friendly, professional, and clearly an expert in fitness, giving not just great advice about working out but also helpful tips regarding meal prep, nutrition, and overall lifestyle modifications. I very much appreciate the personal attention and always look forward to going back!

I started working with owner and personal trainer Perry O' Hearn about 2 years ago. I have played sports most of my life and my injury track record was always high. I felt like I just had a body that tended to get injured and that was that. When I started working with Perry, he taught me how to use form and function together in my strength and conditioning to better my performance in my sport. I currently train in Muay Thai (kickboxing), where we literally get punched and kicked in the head and body. However, with Perry's training I have had less injuries doing this contact sport than I used to get just running! Just last weekend, I competed and won the 105 lb title in the WKA National tournament against women who were at least 10 lbs heavier than me. Perry's training helped me make my body more efficient pound-per-pound than I ever thought possible.
Besides his excellent teaching skills and knowledge, Perry is one of the most reliable and considerate trainers I could ask for and a great friend. I have been lucky to see Philly Phitness start and grow exponentially and participate in that success. I only expect bigger and better things to come for Perry and Philly Phitness!
