I have been going to this studio since it opened in the summer of 2008. Every teacher I have had for the different days that I have tried has been awesome. They are very encouraging, and you get a great workout. Since the classes are small (at most 8 students), the teachers adapt to the group. Anyone from brand new to yoga through advanced will find the classes challenging, relaxing, and refreshing. In addition to yoga, they have a bunch of other classes like meditation, chanting, massage, prenatal, and all sorts of other fun workshops.

I would recommend Sankhya to anyone interested in yoga. The classes are good for both beginners and experienced students. The teachers are kind and helpful. The pricing ($7 a class) is extremely reasonable!

i took a class here last week. the room is super tiny but the teacher made it work and it was a good solid workout. and i love that it's in the olde kensignton neighborhood!!
