I came two times. The first time I genuinely liked the place. I didn't notice the sign on the front door that if you are more than 5 minutes late (which when you live far and dealing with child care and traffic, let's face it, it happens), I showed up 4 minutes late and the door was locked shut. The door is downstairs and the studio upstairs and no one heard me knocking. I made a big effort to drive and come and never came back. I think doing this is super unreasonable. I get it, I guess you don't want people come in late, but this is the real world and life does happen. I've never experienced this type of rigid door-locking policy anywhere. And this is Narberth-- not a high crime area where the door would have to be locked for major security reasons. I was coming specifically for the yin class and because I liked that particular teacher and would have become a regular visitor to this class. But not if I'm going to be locked it 4 minutes late.
