I love this place. Every single person I've encountered there - staff, instructors and students - is friendly and welcoming. I've tried other studios and always left because the teacher didn't take the time to guide me or I was being pressured to move in ways that were painful for me. The instructors at Yoga Garden really care and take time to monitor students and make adjustments. Every teacher I've met there believes the student should do what is right for that student's body or practice. And the classes are fun! I look forward to going here each week and always leave feeling revived and relieved from whatever stress my day threw at me prior.
I love The Yoga Garden and its' welcoming atmosphere. I've taken various classes and always feel challenged and supported. The Yin and Gentle classes are well structured, so I feel as though I am always getting the most out of the hour. The Mixed Levels are always a challenge and a treat since every teacher has something different to offer. It's been a wonderful experience trying different classes and instructors to find what works well for my practice and my schedule; both at the Philly and Narberth locations. Your monthly membership is good for both locations! Can't beat that in this area!

I always have a wonderful experience at The Yoga Garden! The teachers are wonderful and always deliver strong and insightful classes. We laugh, we grow, we sometimes go upside down, but we always have fun in a safe environment. The space is absolutely beautiful with two peaceful practice spaces and a garden terrace to enjoy before or after class. Whether I want to build strength with a challenging vinyasa class or unwind with a restorative flow, The Yoga Garden always provides just what I need!

The yoga garden is beautiful... everything from the space to the faces.
Knowledgeable teachers, blissful front desk staff and members. You can challenge yourself with a vigorous vinyasa flow or wind down and melt in a relaxing gentle or yin class. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of yoga and memberships can be used at 2 locations!!! The YG community truly is full of endless opportunities to be a better you, grow your practice as a Yogi or decompress from everyday life.

I love this studio! The instructors are knowledgeable, creative and encouraging. I personally enjoy the more challenging classes, but they also offer some great restorative sessions. The monthly membership is super reasonable and the space itself has a great vibe.

I came two times. The first time I genuinely liked the place. I didn't notice the sign on the front door that if you are more than 5 minutes late (which when you live far and dealing with child care and traffic, let's face it, it happens), I showed up 4 minutes late and the door was locked shut. The door is downstairs and the studio upstairs and no one heard me knocking. I made a big effort to drive and come and never came back. I think doing this is super unreasonable. I get it, I guess you don't want people come in late, but this is the real world and life does happen. I've never experienced this type of rigid door-locking policy anywhere. And this is Narberth-- not a high crime area where the door would have to be locked for major security reasons. I was coming specifically for the yin class and because I liked that particular teacher and would have become a regular visitor to this class. But not if I'm going to be locked it 4 minutes late.
Kristin is an experienced yoga teacher who also has a meditation practice.
Great place to learn yoga and experiment with a variety of different classes. The staff are very helpful and supportive. The monthly membership is a great deal it allows me to practice 2-3 times per week without having a financial burden. I feel so much calmer and relaxed since I began practicing in March!
Thank you, Gina Molinari, for your Mixed-Levels Vinyasa class on Friday!
Thank you, Meghan Duffy, for teaching us the Mixed-Levels Vinyasa!

An old friend told me about this place back at Christmas time. I have been going to The Yoga Garden for three months now.
The studio is like a magnet for awesome people. The room itself is beautiful and has so much natural light. All the instructors are amazing-- I have taken classes with Mark, Kim and some of the other instructors. All of them were just phenomenal in terms of their approach, the lessons, the sequences... I could go on and on.
I've been to a few studios in the Philadelphia area and a handful in the Main Line but The Yoga Garden is just on another level from any of them, even the ones owned by famous yoga teachers that have lines out the door to get into the classes. I recommend it to everyone I know. It's the kind of place that can really change your life for the better because of what you learn and who you meet there.
