Very expensive
YMCA updated equipment in a big way! They have more treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and rowing machines than I have ever seen in one place. This is a lovely place. I thought I would just join for the racquetball courts!

Interesting building. Typical friendly and diverse YMCA patrons.
They eventually forgave a billing issue resulting from a change of address. We're friends again ;)

The people here are great -- but the equipment is old and you often have to wait for it to become free. The wifi is non-existent anywhere bit the upper gym. YMCA does do some amazing things for the community and I like supporting that but in this day and age their gym really sucks.

PLEASE BE AWARE that the schedule that is provided on their website is not the same as the schedule that is posted at their facility. It has been multiple times when I brought my toddler to swim based on their website schedule, and I had to go somewhere else since the pool was simply closed or had some swimming activities going on that were not mentioned on their website schedule.

Great atmosphere, sauna and steam room in the basic membership locker room!
Facilities are a great mix of historic and modern. The building has a ton of character. You will get lost your first few times through. How many locker rooms do you know that cover three floors? The staff and members are very friendly and welcoming (and good with directions).

I think it's too expensive to be a non for profit organization! Just call it like it is, a company. Other than that, the place is ok.

A coworker of mine was telling me that you could stay there for $100 a week. With that you get your own room and a membership. So either way it's a win win situation. The only downside is that you aren't allowed to have feamale company in your room . But on the bright side you can save a lot of money
Great full circle...kids, damily, solo, swim, basketball, gym....just needs more parking.
