I started working out November 2019, I have continued to reach goals of physical strength, Aerobic fitness, and a great mental outlook. You will experience a lot of hard work of your own, but there are team activities where you will be challenged by one another. I have never felt like I was not part of this hardworking team. Love The West Box! I've been doing CrossFit for 2 1/2 years at another gym. But when I moved to Salem, the West Box welcomed me with open arms! Such a good workout with some amazing athletes!
I never knew I could enjoy working out as much as I did at The West Box. From day 1, the community was so welcoming. The coaches helped make sure my form was perfect and helped correct it when it wasn't. Having a back injury, there were a couple things I couldn't do and each time we came across an issue for me, the coaches always told me to focus on what is best for me. I really enjoy my time and my only wish was that I had started sooner!
Love this box!! I have been going for a couple of years and the workouts are fun and always different. The gym members are friendly and supportive and trainers are excellent!

This is the most amazing Box in the whole wide world
Great private gym in the industrial part of W. Salem. Owner/operator seems like an excellent trainer and was great to talk to. Layout and decor is what you'd expect from any "underground" gym: gritty and industrial, with good equipment and plenty of sqft for a great workout. Owner is either a vet, or is supportive of vets (judging by USMC and Army banners hanging from the rafters) which is always great to see. If you go here and do work, you'll probably get in shape...
What an awesome gym and the people are fantastic. It felt like a family immediately. I wish i lived closer so i could come everyday.
