Beware of the membership here. I cancelled my membership when I moved away years ago, and they continued to accrue fee's and then put it into collections. Conveniently I'm getting the bill from collections now, when they're probably hurting for money.
If I could give them 0 stars I certainly would! How do you chrge someone late fees when monthly dues are taken out of paycheck? Their answer: we have a once a year charge of $25.00 for something...and now they want to take out penalties for the $25 not being paid! P!&& off! You've got enough of my money already!
I've always loved the space to workout and plenty of equipment. However, I think after several years of being loyal it's time to cancel and move on. I understand things are expensive but I feel the gym is falling apart. Alot of the equipment needs to be upgraded or at the very least fixed properly. The cleanliness and hygiene has gone way down. I'm not trying to be completely rude towards the gym there are some really good people there but it's time for a remodel.
I have been a member at Superior for several years, although that will be changing soon. I am tired of everything breaking down. The men's locker room has been in disrepair for many months. Between the spa and the sauna they cannot manage to keep things functioning. Their excuse is always the same- "we are ordering parts" How long does it take to get parts?! They use the excuse for several weeks and nothing ever gets repaired. Time to get a new maintenance person!
Superior Athletic Club has become a family to me and many friends. It is my happy place, and they have it all. Any classes you can imagine, three locations, pool, hot tub and Sauna!!!
Thank god for Superior! I personally don't know how anyone can stand all the purple at Planet Fitness. I guess you get what you pay for, eh?! Forever loyal to SUPERIOR!

The gym is nice, but if you ever run into any issues, the accounting team is very rude and not helpful in the least. After a few years (ep membership and Medford) with them I cancelled my membership right after the phone call I had with accounting which was literally the rudest thing I have ever experienced. Sad service.
Update-the owner commented on this review, nothing was done to right the situation and I was not at all contacted by anyone from this facility.

This huge gym has everything you could need including an olympic size pool, sauna, and great group classes. Leah Hughes is the best motivating spin instructor ever but all other staff is awesome as well. The only thing we would love to see is a tanning bed for Winter times but that is not a complaint! Thanks for all you offer Superior!

Very nice and clean gym, with friendly helpful staff and trainers.
Lots of space to get a workout in. A small indoor basketball court, racquet ball courts and a swimming pool was available for us to use. As well as a free weight area and some machines. There was also a CrossFit type area downstairs. Came to do some Olympic weightlifting and there were bars and plates to get a workout done.
Lots of things you can do to stay fit. Too bad I was only here for a day.
