I am so impressed with Spartan, Troy, and all involved. Our daughters have been boxing at Spartan for several months and the experience has been so good. They've learned a lot and grown as athletes and individuals. Troy has been an outstanding mentor.
This gym will not teach you to defend yourself. Dont be fooled.
Very accommodating to out of town pro's, an all around class act, they have adult classes, numerous youth programs, Troy was a pro himself, they have pro boxing and MMA, plenty of classes for those that want to learn on all levels and the 1st week is free!
Very positive environment. Troy is very enthusiastic and always helpful. He is invested in your success!
I took my kids for a try out how they said. My kids love it I even join.

I love this gym, the membership is cheap and you get the best workout possible. It's like having a personal trainer while learning to fight and relieve stress. The environment is very welcoming. There are men and women of different ages and backgrounds, training for different goals. As an Army vet I love to push myself, and I really get to with these workouts. Everyday I leave with a soaked shirt. I'm so glad I joined

1st off This place is truly inspiring and amazing !
the gym operates as a non profit with some help from the community asking for donations and grants to help & better fund to reach to troubled kids who are in need in this area. this part of the business is absolutely wonderful ,inspiring and i truly believe the owner troy intentions are pure and sweet . I see it everyday some of the kids come in with Little respect for them selves and others, they seem to either lack support or have very little at home in some cases, and often have no goals. the kids in time gain these qualities they don't know they have in them, it's neat to watch the process , they learn to create goals , working hard, & learning to reach them. The trainers and volenteers all seem like truly stand up people and great role models the kids can really look up to . there are also many parents who seem to pitch in , help out and are involved. It's very cool to see young and old change their lives in a positive direction in the name of helping the youth. It's infectious wanting
As a neighbor of the gym ,and a friend to few of the trainers I see a lot & I'm constantly impressed by how hard Troy works for his dream of helping the youth & I think more people in the area should take this mans example of giving back To the community and apply in their lives.
Personally I Once was a lost & homeless youth in Oakland who's parents abandoned me for their drug addiction and a violent life style, so I know personally how important this can be for a youth who needs help. Troys dream is in action and making a difference in these kids lives and our community everyday .its inspiring to say the least how Troy puts the gyms needs before him self and it shows for a boxing gym the place is amazing . in my own opinion Troy is a very stand up guy and the children, staff ,and parents seem to give him the much needed & well deserved respect he deserves.
Been here about a year and a half, it's not only a gym but an environment which really helped me back on the straight and narrow everyone is there to help eachother and it's a great friendly environment which I really enjoy being at!!! Love being a spartan boxer only bummer is not being there enough
