Great access to swimming pool and hot tub. They also have sauna which you access through the locker rooms. Well kept and professional staff and polite clientele. I use the treadmill, elliptical and weight lifting equipment. All clean and in good repair.

Great gym. Facility is well maintained and even during busy hours I'm able to complete a full workout.

The facility is large with a great variety of equipment. The staff handle issues promptly and are generally nice. It's certain members mostly men that are the problem. Never at any gym before have I had a fellow member come up to me insulting my lifting techniques or telling me I put things back in the wrong place. Such arrogance but then again it's Gresham. This ain't Lake Oswego and many of the clientele are not exactly sophisticated. So what can I expect I guess.....right?

LA Fitness does a consistently quality job - I go to clubs around the country, LA Fotnesd always above average - this location is clean - well-staffed - highly recommended

You get what you pay for I use this gym for mainly cardio and do strength training somewhere else but overall really great place love the free classes.

Doesn't have the everyone is staring at you feel at all.

I came here because I'm in a wheelchair. And there is an elevator to the second floor. The last place I was at had no elevator to the second floor. Everyone is very nice. I take their silver sneakers classes.

Very unfriendly staff, always give me attitude, have guest privileges, removed everyone off my guest list, then gave me attitude when I tried to bring a guest.
Do not recommend going to this gym. Many better options out there.

The quality of clientele has really dropped since they opened. Lots of ghetto types now and the Russian guys are really cheezy and aggressive with women patrons. They have a problem getting a clue you have no interest in them and to leave you alone. And what's with them posing in mirrors including the skinny ones and never re-racking plates! They expect their mommies to do it?

I've been to a handful of locations around the country, and this location by far is the worst! I'm giving it 2 stars, because the equipment and set-up of the facility is great. The employees, however, are not. I'm never greeted when I walk in the door, even if they're not helping others, the trainer I worked out with wasn't knowledgeable about anything, but what got me to write this review is how the trainer coordinator treated me. I don't use my sessions since moving to this area (hence bad trainer), so tried canceling my plan to cut back on unnecessary costs. She was extremely rude the second I walked up, and was talking down to me. At one point, she even said "if you're really in dire need of 35 dollars, than I guess this is what we can do for you". I've never been treated the way she treated me! Major attitude the whole time! Luckily, I will be moving away, so won't have to continue going to this location much longer! If it wasn't for that, I'd cancel my membership all together! I'm very disappointed with their attitudes here. I've been a member of LA Fitness for over 4 years now, and have never had a negative experience until going to this location. Unfortunately, this is the only one near me, so would never return if I had a different option! And I didn't want to judge based off of a couple rude employees, but have been going to this club since November, and I can honestly say there has only been 1 friendly employee here. So disappointed

Locker rooms are comfortable and have bathrooms and showers separate from lockers and changing areas. There are classes, general exercise equipment, free weight area, bikes and treadmills. Personal training is available also.

Decent gym but lots of room for improvement. When I joined 18 months ago I was told Wifi would be coming soon with their new upgrade. Upgrade came and went and no WiFi.

Showers and pool area could afford to be a little cleaner. Women could stop taking selfies, talking on the phone, taking other photos in the locker room (especially given the much larger legal issue LA Fitness had in California last year...)

And for the love of Pete, enforce members to stop dropping weights! It's not good for the lifter, it's not good for the weights, you're lifting too much if you can't control their return to a rest position.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!! I am new to the Gresham area and I was stoked when I received a 7 day free pass to L.A. fitness because I've always been curious to see what the inside of their gym is like since its in a nice building and I had heard it had recently been remodeled. When going in to redeem the 7 day pass, right I walked in the awkward girl at the counter told me to wait and about 5 mins of awkward silence later I was greeted by a sales rep who took me to his desk. He began asking me questions about my current goals and work out routine as his "manager" was standing behind him, and never introduced himself, so that was very awkward as well. (I put manager in quotes because this guy was very rude, awkward, unprofessional and he was working the night shift so he most likely was not the head honcho.) After the interrogation the sales rep began asking when I was going to open my membership AFTER I had already explained to him I don't have the money for their $149 initiation fee that day and I already have a membership at crunch I already paid for the month, but he still continued to pressure me on setting an appointment. I reluctantly set a time later in the week because I had already been there and hour and I just wanted to work out already. After setting the app, the sales rep (I think his name was Jayce) told me I couldn't use the 7 day pass. After going home dissapointed I explained what had happened to my boyfriend who had received the same 7 day past and had already worked out there 2 days with it with no one pressuring him to open a membership, he said he would go in with me to make sure we can get use of the free passes. When we went in the following day, it was the same awkward girl at the counter and the manager was standing behind her. Again, he never even smiled or said hi to me even though he obviously remembered me from the previous day. 5-6 mins of awkward silence later the same sales kid came and asked me why I was there since we had an appointment later in the week. I explained to him I wanted to use my 7 day pass still. He then took my bf and I over to his desk and I asked him why my bf was able to get his pass taken care of in less than 10mins with no problems with another rep and he had already wasted and hour of my time. Jayce then apologized and said that he was only saying what his boss wanted to hear since he was standing behind him expecting him to make a sale off of me. Anyways, once he began entering my bf's and mine info he noticed there was an error made on my bf's profile and he wasnt able to fix it. I then asked to speak with his manager. The rep went to grab his manager who was only about 20ft away BSing with a fellow team member for about 30 mins before coming over to help us with our issue. When the manager had finally come over to help us not only did he never introduce himself, he didn't even know where he would sit or how to pull our names up on the computer by looking at our IDs. He literally asked us our names and info when he had our IDs in his hands. after expressing our concerns about the wait time and not being able to use the 7 day passes without being drilled for a membership, the manager then pulled up a calculator to tell us how much it would cost if he allowed us to work out there for 1 days without a membership. I asked him why would they produce the free passes if they were not willing to honor them and the only explanation he was able to provide was that "the pass is just a piece of paper". Keep in mind nowhere on that pass does it say you're required to open a membership with them before you can use the 7 day pass, which kind of defeats the purpose of a "7 days free" right? Anyways after going back and forth with the manager for 30+ mins and getting nowhere I told him that if he was wanting to expand his business he should treat his customers like people and not dollar signs. I also asked him for his name so I could escalate the issue and he refused to provide his business card or even say his name. Nothing is free here.

They've been updating this gym in the past year, so it's a much better experience than a couple of years ago. The locker/ bathroom area is tiled and cleaner now. Any negative issues would be the same at any L.A. fitness, like a lack of floor space to stretch etc. Due to premium member space taking it over and roping it off.

Very clean and they have good equipment. My son enjoys the kids club and I don't pay too much extra for that. Some of the staff don't have Great customer service skills and of course the sales reps are sharks but overall I'm happy with my membership. They have assisted me many times in a courteous manner.

Good overall gym, not the biggest or most luxurious, but enough equipment to go around and the staff doesn't hassle or pressure for personal training or other add on items. Prices are good for what you get, $25. More expensive than say crunch, but you get a basketball court, racquetball, a pool and a good kids club. There are a lot of group classes to attend too.

Wanting my sister to be a gym going since my mother has recently been severely ill. Was completely disrespected and was told that I'd have to pay more money, and lose all guest privileges. So in other words, I have to pay more and lose bringing 4 guests just for wanting my sister to attend.

For somebody that's been an LA Fitness member for over 3+ years this isn't quite the solution I was hoping for.

We have terminated our membership and I highly suggest people rethink their memberships. Spoke with a completely rude district manager (Luke) and hopefully they readjust their service and focus much more on the LTV of their members.

We've switched our service to 24 and they've actually given us much better rates! Super excited and was exposed to true service.

Ive been a member for years now and the thing that really annoys me is that o hardly get to work out since daycare is always full. I pay the monthly fee and it's rare that i can get in with my work schedule. It annoys me that i keep paying yet i can't go. Just now I went in and they said daycare was full... I turned around and left and as soon as i got in my car they took a kid. So that really pissed me off. I'm disappointed. So if you need child care good luck with trying to get a spot.

Club is OK and that seems to be my overall evaluation. I'm an early morning gymer so I don't know what afternoon is like. I have also been a member since the club was built.

1. Staff and custodians. Awesome and friendly. This hasn't been typical but they must have made changes in the last year because everyone working is friendly, even at 5:30am. 5*s
2. Corporate seems out of touch with members. In the past they have tried appreciation days with giveaways, refer a friend incentives, or holiday hours. They don't seem to work with regulars in mind. I am there because I have an extremely inexpensive membership. 1*
3. Club is well maintained and seems good for workouts at least early in morning. I've been tempted to switch to another gym but I have developed friendships here and they have a good pool, sauna, and hot tub when they work.
