Not open 24 hours, take the sign down you lying to people. (Edit) they have summer hours which means even on days the website says open 24 hours it's not, i would not recommend this gym to anyone, anytime fitness is 10x better in every respect.
I joined because its 24hours and I like to work out at night so I come in one evening after a couple months off because I hurt my self and couldn't work out for a while and I got kicked out at flipping 11pm what the heck! I was like your not closed and he said yes we are on summer hours we close at 11.... okay what the heck the sign says 24 hours my contract I signed says 24 hours so in my book it should most definitely be 24 hours!!!!!! This is in no way shape or form okay!

This gym used to be pretty good. The price was right (less than $20 per month) and it wasn't too crowded (Gateway). This price included use of other International Fitness gyms. They went under new management in late 2018 and prices went up, nearly $30 a month, and that is only for use of one club. Before there were discounts (pay up front, student, etc.), now those are pretty much gone. The club has also gotten worse. Since there is nobody on the floor (all the employees sit at the desk near the front), the gym is a mess--people don't re-rack weights, other are grunting and howling and making loud noises (trying to draw attention and distracting others), and still others just drop and throw the weights. Nobody that works there cares and if they are on the floor and see it, they don't do anything. Yet, there are all these signs around the club not to take selfies. Finally, the lockers are mess, few people use gym towels to wipe down equipment, and the bathrooms are gross. Sorry, I used to really like this gym but since the new management, the quality is not worth the price of the dues. After more than 5 years, I've left this gym and have returned to the UO Rec Center.
I have been a member for a few months now and am there just about every day. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The equipment is great and laid out in an organized fashion. Equipment is repaired quickly and not out of operation for long. I love the salt water pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub too! They also keep the locker rooms very clean. I am paying less than a dollar a day here so it is in my honest opinion, one of the best deals on the planet.
Pros: Lots of equipment. Nice pool and spa area.
Cons: Gym management? There is none. There does not appear to be any gym rules or a " code of conduct". Some members have no consideration of others. Some tie up equipment for hours, using it as if were their own personal gym. I've seen the machines/benches covered with sweat. For some reason, re-racking weights when finished seems to be a major issue at this gym. I've seen "instructors" leave dumbbells on the floor. Worse, I've seen them just step over barbells that are lying around. My personal favorite: Members load up machines with very heavy weights (400-800 lbs) and do not unload the machine when they are finished. Sadly, in my opinion, this was a better gym before the remodel.
With just a little "management" this could be a 5 Star gym. Until then, I'm done and gone.
I go there for the pool. Before it was downsized a couple years ago, it was open, spacious, had a basketball court, and lots of space for the equipment and weight-lifting jocks. There was a separate area to work out pretty much alone and an area for people to take their kids, so they weren't in the dressing room staring at you when you were undressing/dressing. The pool has changed to salt water, which is great. Before, over 1 1/2 yrs, I went through 6 swimsuits due to bleach deterioration. Unfortunately, the same irritating issues are still prevalent after the remodel: handicap shower hasn't worked for the month+ I've been back. The hot tub motor was broken for about 3 weeks. The new showers have no hooks or shelves to put your soap, shampoo, rinse, or wet suits. The spray is always weak and if someone flushes, changes to cold...if you were able to find hot water to begin with. The path from shower to pool is wet, slick, and scary for someone recovering from surgery. Now, there are no pool noodles, foam weights, and only 2-3 small boards to use in the pool. The new hand dryers don't allow adjusting the air direction, so they can't be used to dry hair, as before. They also require continual "waving" in order to extend time from 5 sec at a time. Some good news: Basic membership was free for seniors (65+) with insurance Silver & Fit program. Without the pool and free membership, I'd be gone. Terrible maintenance responses. Staff are generally friendly, though. Must be tough within that environment.

It is not a perfect gym and a lot of reviews are quite spot on - it can be dirty, loud, often busy, not open 24/7, has near shirtless posing meatheads with gallon jugs and half-naked girls, weights are not often put away.
However, if your main goal is to work out and you can be flexible, this is a very nice gym - open area with great air circulation. Plenty of heavy lifting equipment, cardio machines, elastic bands, kettlebells, etc. and all in very good condition. Elkay water station, two kinds of saunas (albeit the dry sauna is not that hot), even pool and jacuzzi, assuming that you are into soaking your lungs in chlorine vapors, private shower rooms. Top it all with great location and price and it is quite a winner in my book.
-------------------------------------------------------
Some tips to make your trip more enjoyable - have a lock, avoid coming on Mondays and 5-8pm on weekdays, if you plan to take a shower bring flip flops and towel, noise-cancelling headphones or earbuds are advised. After a hearty workout treat yourself in a cinema, restaurant or a shopping mall, whatever tickles your fancy.

Been going here for 4 months almost and I think its time to find another gym. The place is always packed and the management lets people use multiple machines or benches for an hour at a time. I dont have time to hang out for 3 hours so I can do my hour workout.
I like the fact this gym has a pool and full workout facility, but if there was another gym in town that had a pool for the same price I would probably switch, I feel like this gym isn't very clean, and multiple times I have shown up on Saturday just after 6 a.m. when they're supposed to open and there's been no one there to open cuz the person apparently can't get out of bed and open the gym on time. And each of those time's there's like a dozen people waiting in the parking lot for the person to show up and sometimes they're 20 or 30 minutes late even. I've asked to talk to a manager, about this issue and one other one, their pool being closed frequently, and I'm always told that there is no manager that I can speak with.

Hey did you get a goo6Art eè re4 re31st I 4 5th we are day brotha the day brotha re4 3day brotha the
Very unprofessional. They were stealing money from my bank account. They kept adding random charges and when confronted would act like im stupid and wouldn't even let me talk to a manager. Would never go again they are pathetic scammers.
I don't know why they say they are open 24hrs...it implies they are open 24hr every day but it only applies to Tues-Thurs. It took my awhile (and a few frustrated early morning missed workouts) to realize this.
Other than that I enjoy this gym when it is not crowded (one of the reasons I only go in the early AM...it gets super busy most of the rest of the day) and the staff is very friendly.

Use to be the best international fitness in Eugene that I've been to. It use to be big and clean and now it's small and somewhat clean.
Unfortunately I have to find another gym because they started this stupid group training thing that starts at the busiest time of the day and takes up the entire open area that is normally where people stretch, do pushups and crunches. Basically lost half of my workout because there isn't an area to do it anymore.
If you don't mind paying an extra $100 for six weeks of bs training then go ahead but, I lost my money paying for a year of gym that I can't use especially since it started a month after I joined up.
The only reason I'm leaving this rating is because you guys aren't truly open 24 hours. Friday they close at midnight. And Saturday and Sunday they close at 10 P.M. so it really should be Monday through Thursday 24 hours and Friday, Saturday and Sunday we'll do our best. Don't like that compliant don't post 24 hours above your door lol. I work out late before bedtime helps me sleep.
Always pretty clean, and they supply cleaning wipes to wipe down the equipment. Equipment is new & this location is better than the Eugene one.
Don't do it, they will scam you out of every dime. I only added one service and should have only been charged $29.95. I am being charged 39.95. Plus, the yearly annual fee that wasn't supposed to come out till late Dec to Early Jan came out in November. Then, they charged it to us twice eve though as they said one fee per HOUSEHOLD. I will be getting my money back or I will go to the BBB and I will never join this gym again.
They look pretty and have all that equipment from all the money they steal from people.
I started here 2 months ago. I have type 2 diabetes. The trainer's are great and work with me even when I am not having a one on one training.. Always kind and very helpful if you are not sure you are performing the excise right. When I started my personal trainer Greg taught me how to completely change the way I walk. No one judges where you are at in your exercise. The machines are great and most all are somewhat new. The pool is saltwater and is very therapeutic. I started the aqua class and love it. My only complaint is I wish the locker rooms were a little cleaner. Love love the staff.
Do not commit to this gym, The workout machines are all crammed in to an extremely small space and are missing some of the most basic work out machines. completely cramped. The locker room smells Horrible, i wished to cancel with in the 3rd business day and they made it impossible. There are other gyms in Eugene/Springfield, i HIGHLY suggest researching in other gyms in the area before committing to this gym. It is flashy at first glance but mediocre at best.
I love the fact that this gym is near my home. The staff are very friendly, and it's pretty clean, I do wish however that, I would have gotten a call back when I requested a call from a personal trainer, or someone to help me figure out a personal fitness plan
The international fitness near my house in Gateway has always been fantastic to me, the manager at this establishment goes above and beyond to help her customers. The facility is always clean and has tons of new equipment. The staff is always very nice and friendly, they greet you warmly every time you come in.
Staff is friendly. Pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room are the part Inuse the most but also offers a lot of machines for cardio, weightlifting and stretching. It's open 24 hours Monday through Thursday. Friday closes at midnight. Saturday and Sundays at 10pm and since Gateway is right off Beltline and I-5 it's probably the most easily accessible of all of the Eugene and Springfield IF locations. Things could be a little bit cleaner but it definitely isn't to the point where I won't go in and sometimes repairs seem to take longer than they should, but for the most part I'm really happy with my membership.
