Kelly and Michael are frauds! Stay away! They groom students from a low place, then take advantage. I am out my life savings. They saw me as a target during my divorce(25 yr relationship)
RUN!
*They are NOT MDs, their bios suggest otherwise.

I liked the ample class times and warm instructor. It is a hot yoga studio which hadn't been fully registered when I was booking in the MindBody App since I didn't open the studio description, just the class description, so be aware. The class was as described and I felt the instructor was very thoughtful in here sequencing and presentation.

I have been going to the Zen Spot studio for about a year. I have been practicing yoga for ten years. This place is not your traditional studio. So if being in a posture for minutes on end, focusing on your breath and intention is your only gauge for practice, this may not be the studio for you. They are an AWESOME group of people!!! They each have their own individual style. They put a lot of focus on proper posture, alignment and strength building. Each one cues a little bit differently but they all cue modified postures. I would highly recommend this studio to a beginner as well a veteran yogi. Thank you Zen Spot for doing something a little bit different!

The reviews on here are highly inaccurate, and I suspect the only reason they haven't been corrected by the loyal ZenSpotters out there is because classes are already so full.

The studio is NOT carpeted. It is extremely hygienic, especially compared to other "hot" yoga studios in town.

Each instructor has a different style; some are more "yogi" centered and others are more "athletic" centered. However, in my year of practicing here I have reached new levels of spiritual, emotional and physical awareness. ZenSpot encourages each practitioner to do his or her best and does not promote competition or judgment. It is the least "cliquish" yoga studio I've ever been to. I have laughed, cried and smiled through class here. The instructors know their students' names and make an effort to connect, but it is up to the individual to find meaning in his or her practice.

One of Eugene's best kept secrets.

So tonight was my first time here. Sondra is super welcoming. Mind you, im a big girl and it was my 2nd time ever in my life of ever doing hot yoga. She modified the position.. move things so i could get into position (as best i could for being as flexible as a door) and was really encouraging throughout the class. I'll definitely be back, even once the groupon is done. And the music was awesome, not your typical yoga music.

Wow. Single worst yoga experience I've ever had. Upon signing in I was told that since it was my first class I had to be at the back of the room, just out of curiosity, I asked why and was told it was "just policy." I have tendinitis in a number of joints which is the reason I do yoga and I modify accordingly. On the way out the instructor told me that I was not allowed to modify and that I have to follow her cues. Apparently this is not "your" yoga practice it's theirs. The one positive review is more than likely by an employee, if you're reading this you are intelligent enough to know that with six reviews one positive and five negative there are many better places to go. I would recommend Eugene Yoga or Hard Core Yoga.

Awful! I had a groupon, Guy said I'd been there before--once, four years earlier!!!! He said I'd have to pay more to get 5-class deal. So I did. I came back a couple weeks later. A woman employee (not Kelly, co-owner & instructor) said card had expired! No one told me they had such a totally SHORT time class card was good for. She was not empathetic. There was one shower, down the basement. It was cold down there. Very crowded, small space. Instructor stood right behind me, when I was was in a posture where you lift a leg behind you. He was in the way.
