Shady to say the least. The manager smelled like booze. Way over priced for what it is.

The gym itself is somewhat decent, however the manager is completely dishonest. This place should be avoided solely because of its sketchy management.
He first lied to me when i first signed up for membership, when he told me the first month would only be $5 along with the $20 for a keycard. However, 5 days after i signed up, i was surprisingly charged $35 for a full month fee. I approached him about it and he said that the $5 for the "first month" was only for the last 5 days of the current month before the new billing period, which he had never made any mention of whatsoever.
He also failed to mention his ridiculous rule that members have to give a 30 day notice before they end their membership. When I moved to Portland, I called and asked him to discontinue my membership, but then i was charged another full monthly fee on the 4th of the month and when i called to ask him about it, he said i had to wait 30 days from the time i asked to end my membership until it was fully completed. I've been a member at gyms in the past where they reimbursed me money after i've ended membership for days in the month i've already paid for in advance. This way of doing business is just really dishonest and almost feels like your being scammed.
I've also had friends that have had similar problems with the management taking money from them for ridiculous reasons. I would not recommend joining the gym because these similar types of management issues are very likely to happen if you do.
Stay away. This gym has a shady, unclean feel to it. SamFit down the road is much more professional, clean and the wifi works!
Cons
1. Unclean (once I walked into the bathroom and there was a pile of poop on the floor for a day and a half near the toilet)
2. Wifi has poor signal and doesn't connect to your phone half the time. Will eat your data minutes. Manager did nothing to improve or fix this even through many people wrote on the bulletin board this is a problem. All they need to do is get a wifi amplifier and the problem would be fixed. Paying $39./mo should include wifi working for everyone's phone.
3. After giving my 30 day notice I was overcharged my prorated amount and not given my key deposit back.
4. Never vacuumed. Bathrooms not thoroughly cleaned.
5. Some machines broken.
Does the owner know how unclean this gym is kept by the management? Or how the wifi signal is so weak many cannot connect to the wifi from their mobile devices. If I were the out of town owners I'd find a much more professional manager who isn't lazy about taking care of the basics. It's one thing to save costs for a company and another thing to lose customers because of it.
Pros
1. Calm gym. the people that go are nice.
SamFit down the road is the way to go - It's clean, the wifi connects to your mobile device without a problem and all the machines are in working order.
Great, convenient little gym. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
This club was once a nice, friendly, quieter, and inviting environment. Recently ownership changed hands and it has become dirty, loud, and strictly sales driven. I just watched as between 3-5 loud managers/workers discussed business, made speaker phone calls, and wandered past filthy floors and overflowing garbage cans for the entire 2 hours I was there working out. One especially loud man was wearing those similarly loud bedazzled men's jeans. Yuck! He's the same guy that I've seen loudly discussing business with what I assume was a new employee at a table right in the center of the workout equipment area... he was so fidgety he leaned back too far in his chair and fell out backwards like a fool. This gym traded a nice gentleman that kept the place clean (to the best of his abilities with what he was given to work with) and was on a first name basis with everyone, for some giant amazon looking woman and little boy who looks too young to have left his mother.
I used this gym when I was in town visiting family. Kelly is a very friendly and accommodating manager! The equipment was clean and in working order. I plan to use this gym again when I'm in Albany!

Very clean facilities, lots of belt machines (I prefer cable type, but it works), small free weight area but it's never a packed, so you have plenty of room. Clean, and Equipped, can't ask for much more
