I came thair on a day that seid open 12 to 5 got thair at 2 and the doors were lock also the employees dont leave you alone
I was in town for the day and had a great experience at this YMCA. Val was so helpful and kind showing me how to navigate the facility. I asked for a recommendation for a breakfast and Mike the Director actually came out to speak to me. Very impressed!
VERY Friendly staff, lots of ommendities, clean and overall great place. Newly updated original older building.

its a nice place i miss the old look it would be nice if they add a hot tub if you want a better ymca to go to in the summer i would recommend the Davis family ymca

Haven't been back since they renovated it, but this place was and hopefully still is one of the best places to workout. It has EVERYTHING in terms of weight machines, benches, dumbbells, racks, cardio equipment, etc. Sure it is dirty and doesn't have air conditioning in the basement, but that deters the people who aren't there to workout seriously. It literally is a dungeon. I have yet to find a YMCA that compares. Most gyms can't measure up to all that this place offers.

Great gym, pool, work out facility, sauna, personal trainers waking around, a track follows the perimeter on the second floor of the main gym, private work out rooms, lots of class, student discount, free parking (which is great downtown) but carry mace is your going at night it's a block walk to parking area and you never know in Youngstown. Student discount. Great gym though.
